Hi, OP here, again.
Just wanted to thank everyone who posted. It helped me out and I learned a lot.
Turns out it was a bad battery. Kudos to Uptown Ford in Oakland, CA for getting it fixed today. I brought it in about noon and picked it up around 4pm, no charge.
I took a quick road trip to...
No, nothing like that. I had an ARE shell put on that has an interior bed light. But I double checked that that was off. It's tiny, 3 LEDs, I don't think much of a draw.
It's the OP here again.
It's an AGM battery that came stock.
When I tried to start it this morning, it sounded like it wanted to turn over but just couldn't get there. I used a NOCO Boost plus to jump it. Very handy thing to have. Can charge your phone too and has a flashlight.
The last two mornings my Mav wouldn't start. Called AAA for a jump and they said it had only 10.6 volts; not enough to start. Once it got going, it was at 15 volts, which the tech said was ok. I drove it around for a while yesterday, and it started a number of time before I turned in last night...
Yes, it came with the roof rack installed, but it was probably extra. If I were to do it all over again, I'd get the the taller cap. Bed's short enough as it is, might as well get as much height as you can.
I just drove over 3000 miles through Northern CA, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, NV and back to the Bay Area.
I was specifically looking for tough unpaved roads to test out the Tremor. This was my first real big trip.
In this post I discuss:
1) Davidson Road to Gold Bluffs Beach campground and Fern...
Haven't taken it out yet.
I agree about the paint. Look earlier in this string, someone suggested a Thule hood loop. I had never seen one before. It anchors under the hood and gives you a loop to tie off to. Ordered some yesterday. 👍
That Thule case atop the cab, do those cross pieces attach to the rails in that roof? Do you have a link for those? I'd like my kayak more forward than I have it currently and those would do the trick. Thanks!
