Any particular settings you have them set at or did the new springs they sent you solve everything
I have them set at 8 out of 25 clicks on the compression and rebound. (Closer to soft than hard) prior I had it at 18. It felt good at 18 when all I did was swap out the springs but I wanted to start over so I zeroed the c/r to 0 and clicked up to 8. Feels really good.

Thanks for your perseverance on this. I think I'll order the Silvers as you've spec'd soon. I really love my Eibachs (they're dead quiet) but need a few more inches of drop.
Of course bro. There are a TON of adjustments and tricks to getting these set up but it can be done. None worked with the Scales..lol Lmk if you need anything. I can just about do these in my sleep now

"Default Spring Rates: Front 9k Rear 7k-S for FWD Maverick." Did you go with that spring rate or a custom one? And you went with Swift Spring upgrade all around? (Not sure they even have Swift springs that would fit the rears but I assume the Swift upgrade is only for the front?)

What was the spring rates on the Silver's coilovers when you first got them?

I am taking a look at BC Racing coilovers and it is 5K front/rear spring rate. Wondering if that might be too soft. But their stated Max Drop is only like 2 inches though..

My default rates were 10k and 8k. With standard springs. I upgraded to the Swift up front going to a 9k as it actually rides like an 8k. I looked into BC. Their strut mount and coiltube are different. They use..iirc, progressive springs not linear. This is why the spring rates are 5k. On the Maverick...the lowest swift spring rate I would go with or recommend is the 8k.

I'm not sure if they offer swift for the rear but tomorrow I will reach out to them and see. If they do ill order a set for the rear.

The most important thing here is to not cheap out. Go with the upgraded swift springs. They are that good! Also...imho if this is a daily, forget about the "low version". It is soooo not needed. I'm really low in front and can go lower. There aren't really expensive coilovers for the Maverick because most are too cheap to understand the difference. These are single adjustments. Double and triple adjustable coilovers are available for more expensive applications and I swear they are worth their weight! Your talking Lexus smooth ride quality...but with prices reaching upwards of $8k for the top coilovers, lol we will perhaps never see anything close to them offered for the Maverick. 😉

Swift springs are the way to go.

Took a few hours and countless measuring of my suspension setup to ensure these tire sizes would would, but I think the look and feel of them with the new wheels are going to be worth the extra time checking and measuring and checking and measuring some more! That's ALOT of meat going on the rear of the Maverick! It is very narrow in the rear. I know it will fit but it was close. Made a few suspension tweaks to get the 305s to fit without contact.

Interesting. I've got the Silvers sitting in a box on my floor right now deciding whether or not to install them. Wondering if I really need to go that low and worried about the ride. My last two vehicles were a 2006 Mustang GT (lowered on Eibachs) and a 2007 Porsche Cayman (stock suspension). The Mustang ride felt solid and the Porsche ride felt like you were on a train track. I already feel like the stock Maverick suspension is a bit bouncy for me. Richmond has a lot of speed bumps and potholes though so I've really been torn on putting the coilovers on or not. My plan is to also run 19's or 20's.

At the end of the day it really is a very personal decision. I live in Florida were everything is flat and the roads quite decent. In your case however, sticking to 19" or 20" will benefit you going with coilovers. Remember though, coilovers aren't just for going low... they are about dialing in the correct ride height for you! Springs will never do this as it is a static drop. You get what you get without adjustment of the ride height. You certainly do not have to go as low as I or others are. Coilovers will stiffen up the ride in a good way...given you have the correct spring rate matched with the correct compression/rebound tube. Can you share a pic of the front and rear spring rate of your coilovers? It's on one end of the box. This was mine...but not the spring rate I ultimately ended up with...

Mines the same as the box pictured there. I would assume the 10kg is a stiffer ride than what you have with the 9kg's? If I decide to stick with the coilovers I'd probably go with about what you have with the rear and go a little higher up front (as I know you said you were going to adjust your rear and I can see that you have a slight rake). I know I'll still be able to adjust the compression.

By the way, did you do the cutout around the top of the factory towers or did you go with the offset camber bolts to do your adjustments up front to get your alignment?

I'm having a custom cut out jig made to cut out the top of the strut tower so that the cut is clean accurate and perfectly round. Lol

You dont need to cut the strut towers out to align it however. That is mostly done to allow easy access to setting camber for like track day etc. Once aligned you won't need to set it again. Remember, once you cut those towers...its no going back...easily. ensure the camber plate is zeroed out before installing and you will be good to go. Focus more on any toe in/out as this will chew the hell out of tires much MUCH more than slight camber. 😉

What do you think about 9k spring rates at all 4 corners? Plan is to autocross it.

Truck is looking good. Love the stance. Can't wait to see the new wheels; any reason you're choosing to go with a staggered setup?

Honestly, 9k is great for the front but for the average person 7k in the rear would be ideal so for you 8k should be a better balance. Upgrade your rear swaybar, get a strut tower bar..and some chassis under brace bars from TeamZ Motorsports and you'll be set. 😉
