Horn honks every couple minutes after locking?

I've looked up different threads and read my manual and I still can't get a read on what this particular occurrence is.

When I turn off my truck (keyed ignition), lock it, and walk into the house, I can hear the truck honking roughly every couple minutes for 10-20 minutes.

Lights are set to auto, car is in park, no keys left in vehicle, no one left in vehicle.

When I do the same but DO NOT lock the truck, there is no honking at all.

I'm confused. Thinking of bringing it into the dealer to help me understand.

I set mine up, last year, to where if you bump the window/ door/tire with your fist, it will chirp one time. Use any more force and it will set off the alarm.
If it's going off randomly or by cars driving by/wind, I'd say it's set to sensitive.

My issue doesn't appear to be related to perimeter alarm because I don't having in the settings about it, nothing to adjust sensitivity, etc.

Mine only started doing this once I added the perimeter alarm. Take your key fob, hit lock unlock lock. Let us know if your truck starts.

You won't find anything in settings, there is an adjustment knob on the alarm module under the dash. Assuming yours was equipped with the Perimeter Plus system.....that one has adjustable sensitivity. Search Perimeter Plus on here, someone posted the install guide some time back, it includes info on adjusting
