so how do the dealership alocation work. the dealership I went to I was one fo the first to place my order (9am 23MY window opening day). yet here I cam almost 7 months later and still havent heard anything. i know its a hot comodity, but, unlike in the US, canada was still ordering mavericks well into 2023. for options I ordered XLT, cyber orange, BAP, rear window. I tried to avoid most of the main constrains that I intend to get after market (spray in bed liner, hard rolling tonneau).

can anyone really figure out how the dealership allocation works, I didnt go to a small time dealership. so in all theoretical aspects, shouldnt there be a bit more first come first serve if ordering is still available?

Logic and common sense have no place in dealer allocation ... you might try sacrificing a goat.

Albert Einstein spent 40 years pursuing Unified Field Theory, unsuccessfully.

Ford’s Allocation Matrix is far more complex and indiscernible than Unified Field Theory. You’d have a better chance of getting an answer to this question: “What’s the recipe for Coca Cola?”.

Good luck, keep us posted if you unlock the matrix!

You ordered a hybrid, it could be a long wait. Mine took 9 months from order to delivery. Some people have been waiting over a year.

Allocations, from an explanation I saw, are a mix of dealer sales number, regional sales numbers, and a bunch of other stuff. It's a multi-layer system, the first level is your dealer allocations, second regional allocations, next Ford's picking system, then parts availability for your build. Once you are in Ford's part of the system and you've been picked it's completely up to parts availability. At the end of the day it's basicly a lottery.

so with perceived scheduling being set for the end of may already, im still looking at going beyond 9 months, just rying to get the math together, cuz im adeally hoping to get it this calendar year, but preferable before I the new model year opens up

If your dealer cannot give you any hints as to where you are in the process, there isn't much any of us can tell you unfortunately. Did they give you information to use in the tracker? Even if they did, their system is more complex.

With dealers in person meetings seem to work far better than email/txt.

At least you have the tracker, it didn't work in Canada for the longest time.
its not a tracker. its going onto ford.ca and talking to one of the online peoples, and giving my sales code and order code to see if its been scheduled

I think key is how many dealer has sold and how many Ford thinks they can sell. Ordered mine the second day from a large dealer and already have it - Lariat Hybrid. They ordered about 400 and getting 25-40 per week. My wife ordered from our small town dealer as the FIRST order they took on the first day and we have heard NOTHING. Talked to that dealer and he only ordered 11. He has seen only ONE come in - XLT EB.

Dealer size does have a big impact. I doubt my dealer was getting more than 5-6 Mavericks a month.

It’s the same thing. They are using the same tracking tool we are. I found it pointless to use them. The tracker was somewhat useless as well always 2-3 weeks behind with updates.
Picking mine up today after 490 days. Original order Nov 26/21. Was scheduled first week of Sept 2022 then pushed to 2023. If you use the same original schedule 9 months to schedule and 1-3 months for delivery depending where you live. My original order was XLT, Lux and 360.
