Recently, I was told by representatives on Ford Chat that my October 2021 order was cancelled for the second time, with the reasoning being "analyst error". It has been three weeks since this discovery, and the sales manager keeps saying he is looking into it.
It originally became confusing a few months ago when i figured out the two Maverick orders I placed (one in October 2021 and one in September 2022) became mixed up. My private offer from the rollover order became attached to the more recent September order and that became the only vehicle order on file according to the dealership manager. Then I actually received notice that this was in production back in January. I was peeved that the second order was lost but at least I had the private offer and scheduled production date. But now that order is gone!
I am not really sure if this was some kind of simple error or my sales manager being incompetent or trying to pull a quick one. I did change the trim level when i learned it would be rolled over to 2023. Maybe that caused confusion. Does anyone have any insight to what might have happened?
