I knew this was my build week. Got my sticker a couple days ago, have blend date as 11/17 which was 2 days ago. Never got any emails about any updates, not even from dealer. Just checked tracker almost every day. And modules also popped up.

Question, what does it mean and the bottom of sticker ( Rail and ramp RV2G )?

My Mav has been "in production" since 10/22. I checked for the modules about a week later, and they all appeared. I have an ETA for delivery being 12/3, but I have heard and seen nothing since. Heck, I even have a link in the Ford Pass App to "activate my vehicle," which I would gladly do, if I had it!!
I was in thr same exact boat as you. Late yesterday my vehicle went to built waiting to ship

Congrats. I got what I considered to be quite a "last minute" email from Ford late last night (Wed) that my unit scheduled for week of 11/29 would now be 12/6. I figure that week will "stick" given how close it is. Barring some hurricane or something.

I got the same note, same late-night arrival. Not the note I wanted but like you I'm hoping it'll be just the one week slip. 🤞

RAIL means it is shipping from the factory via Rail. Ramp is sometimes referred to as the Region code. Ramp codes are specific to a factory, and refer to the "ramp" your vehicle will be shipped out and loaded on departing transport. Vehicles with similar ramp codes are lumped together based on destination 'region.'

It's a way of sorting vehicles coming out of production and making sure they are lining up to the correct departing transport 'ramp'. Which is quite a complex operation as every vehicle coming out of production in a line is going vastly different places. They can't just fill up the next empty rail transport car. Otherwise they would have to keep offloading them and reloading them at every juncture along the way. This allows only the rail cars to need to change at junctures, as all the vehicles inside the car are going the same place.

The TTGX rail auto transport car have to be loaded based on each final destination rail terminal. Like vehicles get loaded on the same rail car, based on their ramp codes. The whole rail car leaves Hermosillo and arrives at the destination terminal together (starting that process with a similar ramp code). But it will change which rail cars and engines it is connected to several times.

All rail cars start on Union Pacific as they cross the International Border at Nogales, Arizona. They may stay on UP to their final destination, or transfer to CSX or Norfolk Southern along the way. It's quite complex.

There may be some sort of logic in the ramp codes, what the letters mean and numbers. But I haven't figured it out, yet.

This reminded me of a funny story (well tragic for someone else) when I was riding with my father to the F150 plant in Louisville circa 1980. My father used to work for the Insurance subsidy of Ford Credit called American Road as an insurance adjuster. So, when cars were damanged on dealer lots, or in transit, he would be the one writing the estimate for the damages. Like if there was a hailstorm in Kansas, my father was driving out to the car dealers writing up 100+ estimates.

One day, I guess I must have been off of school, and I ended up somehow riding with him while he made his rounds. I remember the car carriers lined up and guys driving your new F150 70 miles an hour through the massive parking lot to get it to the car carrier. He was there because someone had driven one off the end of the carrier, presumably due to excessive speed.

Congrats. My Lariat has been delayed twice, just different dates. Latest is next week.
