Currently in a super similar situation, ordered the Lariat trim and luxury package on a '22 specifically to have adaptive cruise control (even told the sales agent that's the only option I want), year and a half later I received a '23 Lariat Trim level with luxury package and was told it had everything the '22 was supposed to. Didn't investigate, because why would they straight up lie. Went to test the stop and go cruise control a day after I got it home and found it it just wasn't on the truck, contacted the dealership and they were under the impression it was supposed to be on there and have kinda just thrown their hands up in the air like "nothing we can do" and suggested I order a new truck and trade this one in when it comes as if that was some kind of fix for the situation and not going to cost me more money.

I was in contact with the GM of the dealership but they have ghosted me, going to try contacting Ford directly and reporting the dealership. Pretty much was straight up fraud, not going to drop this issue and I suggest you don't either.

I originally ordered my Maverick XLT FX4 and cactus gray with co-pilot and tow package in January 2022. I received my order sheet with everything I placed through the dealer and San Bruno, California.

With all the trouble that Ford had in material back orders, at the urging of this forum I deleted the spray in bed liner.

In October I got a VIN and a production date of Nov 1 and a window sticker.

After several delays, including both manufacturing and 60 days of shipping time on rail, my Maverick came in. I went to pick it up at the dealer was happy drove it home and slapped on the BAK XS4 roll-up tonneau and Elevate racks.

Little did I realize though that they? had deleted my co-pilot 360. The dealer hasn't responded to me in over two weeks and of course the Ford reps don't know anything about it. I'm still trying to figure this part out. BTW, after investigation, the copilot 360 was on my order sheet, but not the window sticker..I got confused and thought the window sticker description of emergency stop or crash alert was the copilot 360.

So now I'm wondering if there's anything I can do about adding co-pilot 360 after I already have the truck.

Other than that I love the truck. I stuck on some nice red and black insert lettering for the tailgate that go great with the FX4 decal and it pops on the cactus gray.

The rollup tonneau cover is awesome. And I love the way the elevate racks fit right with the truck. I can stick a six or so medium large Rubbermaid containers under the tonneau, another six on top of the tonneau, and mount my Yakima rocket box on top of the elevate bars as well as a bicycle. I found that my old full size pickup bed elastic cargo net fits very well from the bed rails and over the elevate rack system to hold the top layer of goods stored on the tonneau cover in place.

I also plan on getting a spray-in bed liner aftermarket, but in the meantime I bought some interlocking gym floor mat foam pieces and cut them to size to fit the bed. This is actually working very well. I love the lightweight foam that I can remove anytime I want and wash it down and it gives me a half inch of protection for the bed. I'm thinking of ordering a little bit more and lining the wheel wells inside of the bed and tailgate.

With a tonneau cover and elevate rack system, I'm getting a combined 22 miles per gallon, and on the highway at a casual 65 to 70 mph, I'm getting 31 miles per gallon with the FX4 and all terrain tires mind you.

The Maverick feels almost like a large Subaru. It doesn't feel like a large pickup truck at all, but it feels a little bit more beefy than my wife's Outback. And I can tow 4k pounds.

I just wish Ford or the dealer had let me know that I was not getting co-pilot 360.

When I bought a Ranger, it had mykey on the sticker, but not on the truck. When I bought my Maverick, it had ecoboost on the sticker, but not on the truck. Ford is horrid when it comes to sticker accuracy. So, I am not surprised at all by what has happened to you. Bummer.

Ford is buyer beware now. Trust but verify, as Pres Regan said long ago.

I think you are SOL unless you get another Mav; do not think they can add 360 after the fact. I could be wrong so check w/dealer (hope they did not charge you), LOL.

The Lariat Lux package changes from 2022 to 2023 were made very clear by Ford. When you confirmed your rollover order with your dealer, the dealer should have clarified the changes. Just another sloppy, lazy dealer, it seems.

Ford REALLY should have renamed this "new" package. I wish they had called it "Advanced Driver Assist Package" or something similar, so it would have been crystal clear to anyone looking at it.

The first few times I read "Co-Pilot 360 Assist Package", I thought the "assist" was just further describing the CP360 package further. It even sounded logical for the ACC to be part of the CP360's sensor package.

But even so, I figured it out in time to place a first-day order, so I cannot understand why the sales reps failed to understand it as well. I strongly suspect many of them didn't even bother to read the Ford literature before placing orders, then failed to go back and correct the orders they entered incorrectly.

So "Trust, but verify..." is excellent advise!

I took some pics of the interlocking gym mats. I ordered silver colored ones. I just laid them in, marked them off, and cut to size. A couple small gaps that I filled in with more gym mat cuttings. I had 1.3 mats left over. Here's the mats I bought:
ProsourceFit Exercise Puzzle Mat... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K2TWXD6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They are holding up for me pretty well. I could have taped them together underneath, but think I need too. If you don't have a covered bed, you might want to use double sided tape to hold them down.

Also I found that a 2 pound auto/marine fire extinguisher fits perfectly in the back door water bottle holder.

See pics for:
- bed and mats without and with my normal everyday carry: field gear, emergency kit, 5 gallon gas can, sports gear, etc.
- close up of tailgate lettering
- front view of truck
- mats with pen as reference for thickness

What a great looking truck! I'm thinking of going with a bedrug, but had explored the idea of using the gym interlocking mats. Could you drop the tail gate and show us a photo of what your gym mats look like. I wasn't sure how that might work with all the ridges in the bed floor.

But did he pay window sticker MSRP or original order MSRP?

I am wondering if with a "60 day ship" and no mention he ever checked window sticker on tracker... Did they sell him another vehicle? Maybe they lost his order, or sold his to someone else, and slipped this one in.

Not much OP can do because deal is done, but would also be curious if they were honest with amount charged.
I checked the window sticker many times, but I thought the collision alert was the cp360. But dealer or Ford never let me know they were building without co360.

I think it's the same vehicle and either my dealer or Ford just deleted the option due to chip shortages without telling me.

I would just enjoy it without that one feature, it's a fantastic vehicle, I love mine more everytime I drive it.
Yep. Even though I don't have the CP360, I still really like the truck. Perfect for what I need it for. Just unhappy with Ford/dealers communication.

Funny. I just watched Chernobyl on HBO. The Russians said they were the originators of that phrase.... But yes, I don't have trust in Ford sales at all now. Don't trust and verify the hell out of it!
