15 months here too. Ordered Nov 5 2021.
I’ve been losing hope and have started looking at other vehicles.

Order confirmed 10/4/2021 sill no build date. Will have to buy a 2nd car after we sold our f150 before going to Florida for the winter!!! Thanks Ford!!!

Minivan life isn't all that bad, take out the seats, then you can load it to the brim, my last minivan was a 2001 Windstar Sport with General Grabber AT/2, with traction control, it would go just about anywhere, I managed to drift it on a gravel road one time, figured out that a minivan shouldn't do that twice, had to check my britches after that.

My Mav is replacing my wife's 1999 Ford Windstar. I use it for Lowes, Home Depot, kayaking.

That is so wrong on many levels. Hard to believe you don’t have a build date yet. There can’t be too many September and October 21 orders left. Just crazy
My 10/12/21 hybrid fortunately was built on 1/31/23.

No emails today but i got a different response from Ford chat that I havent got before. Wonder if this means its picked and waiting for a scheduling date or just the typical "order processing" with some different verbiage the chat rep put in.

For me it's been 469 days. This truck will be the first new vehicle that is primarily mine. (I always let the wife have the "new" car so she didn't have to worry so much about problems. I always drove the beater.) One of the beaters I had a couple of years ago was a 1995 Ford Ranger. I loved that truck. 5-speed manual and regular cab. Leaked oil and had very little umph, but it got me where I was going, and I could get 25 mpg out of it. When it got wrecked, I started looking at new pickups. Everything I found was an oversized gas guzzler with a price tag as big as a house. Then the Maverick came along. Rated at 42 mpg (at the time), not too big, and a sub $20k MSRP. This was going to be my next truck.

At this point it is a contest between me and FoMoCo, and I refuse to give up. After 23 years in the military, I am a pro when it comes to playing "hurry up and wait". And to me it's worth the wait.

Sounds like you have earned this truck! Thank you for your service! It will definitely be worth the wait, but I hope the wait isn’t too much longer! I hope you get your build week/date VERY soon and that it gets to you quickly as well as safe and sound! 🫡 Hooah!

The best part about all of this, if my Mav doesn't get built, then I'll just buy out my current lease, a 2020 2.0 Ecoboost AWD Fusion, will have around 30k miles, for $13k.

No. It became lost in the system etc.Either nobody knows or neither Ford nor the dealer would be honest or investigate. Ford did open a trouble ticket to look into my order and why it no longer existed but the did nothing. The dealer says Ford cancelled my order or asked them to cancel but the dealer never said they actually canceled and would provide no details. Ford said if the dealer cancelled it would still be in their system. Ford has no record it was ordered they say although I provided emails from them confirming the order and some follow up std emails.
