Private offer snafu at Granger Motors

I'd guess it could be something like if you generated a 2023 Farm Bureau program certificate (selected 'I haven't bought the vehicle yet') and they selected 'Incentives by order date' in Smart Vincent it wouldn't combine because the '23 program didn't "exist" in September '22.

If you generated a '22 certificate or they did incentives by sale date I'd think they should combine.

OP, I get you're annoyed at the problems. But the farm bureau not stacking isn't causing your payments to go up a bunch. $500 across 36-72 months isn't a huge delta.

I was not able to use the Farm Bureau discount when I picked up from Granger back in November. I've been a farm bureau member for over 10 years. Would have been nice, but not a deal breaker for me. Was more than happy with the 3K deal.

All they told me was it was not showing in smart vincent. Now that I think of it my address is different at farm bureau than what I used when I order the truck. So that is probably why.

You had to sign up for the certificate before your order date I think. So if you had a valid certificate before reordering in September you should get it.

You just need to have been a member for 30 days before the purchase.

I recently read the farm bureau offer has ended...besides, you had to accept delivery by Feb 1....could be wrong I hope, for you...

The offer for 2022 ended…they renewed the program for this year

Which neither you nor I know why. Does not change what the requirements are.

If you had a valid certificate when you ordered, it would now be expired since the 2022 certs only went through 1/1/2023. You had to get a new certificate.
I figure there is some other issue going on.

In my experience, you can’t stack a private offer/price protection with another offer. I took price protection and my SV rate over haggling with the X-Plan.

Either way, I submitted for the certificate last year and after the beginning to this year. Pretty sure these offers lock in the day your order is summited. Definitely says for Maverick model years 21/22/23 on my certificate from last year. OP got the option to pick private offer or farm bureau probably because they have to select the price protection date when ordered or purchase date, for pricing and incentives. Can't pick both dates.
