How many 2021 Ecoboost orders could be left to build?

Hopefully this truck will last forever because I will never ever order another Ford again. Others have said if they would have known it to be this long they wouldn’t ordered….. me neither!!!

Okay. Your dealer could run out of allocations and so it may not matter how many extra trucks Ford builds; your dealer won't see another truck. You could also be asking for an add-on Ford runs out of. Even with the last EB order being scheduled in April on paper, there is any number of reasons why a specific EB order doesn't get scheduled until August.

I share math. Be as optimistic or pessimistic as you want with it.

Is there a scenario where dealerships on average don't have many remaining Maverick allocations after their September 2022 orders? I am assuming allocations are a cap, not a minimum, which could be completely wrong. Where I'm going is if many dealerships met their allocation amounts already with Mavericks ordered in 2022, where would the new stock go? And yes, I'm trying to make a case for EB ordering banks to open in next 2-3 months..And of course, I have no understanding of how allocations work.

Seriously, the allocations would likely adjust as production adjusts. So, if Ford makes 50% more trucks, then dealers would get 50% more allocations, in general. But I have no idea if that is all dealers, some dealers, or what.

Like all of you, I'm an outside observer. I just happen to be able to observe quite a bit.

Its important to remember there is no correlation between a dealers allocation and their number of retail orders.

A dealer could run out of allocations and still have many remaining retail orders.

Or a dealer could have many allocations left and no more retail orders. In this case the dealer can fill those allocations with dealer stock orders and charge a big ADM.

Dealer allocations get recalculated every month but for some smaller dealers, they may get zero allocations for many months.

It's a crazy system. Not even Ford knows how many allocation a dealer will get past the current month. It is based upon how many sales the dealer have for the last 12 months. So a dealer can't even know allocations for next month until they know how many sales they are going to have the current month. So allocations are dependent upon sales that have not even happened yet.

Many dealers will end up with more retail orders than allocations. But they don't know right now for sure because they don't know what their future sales will be.

With all the talk about allocations now lets get real muddy and throw priority into it. Let's suppose a dealer has all retail orders set at 19. Now we have folks dropping like flies, tired of waiting and purchasing something else. These folks go back to their dealer, cancel and ask for their deposits back. The dealer can now count on those retail orders to become stock and from experience it seems most (at least on the East Coast) mark up with ADM. How do we know the dealers aren't lowering the priority from 19 for those retail cancelled orders to make sure they can get their own now stock first? As cancelations pile on are we sure we're not getting delayed further by this tactic?

Add one more. December 2021 order . Reorder September 2022 . EB XL 4K 400 w inverter ,dropped mud flaps . It has been confirmed I am getting $ 1750 refund off the $ 3500 dollar price increase . No scheduling or vin as of yet . Thanks

Dec 21 order dropped the mudflaps got a vin 2 weeks later. Probably to late but do not order the mudflaps, it will hold up your build. Plus the aftermarket ones are better.
