It's tough to capture on video how steep a grade or difficult terrain is on video. You can switch to the off road screen I believe that will tell you whatLonger hill climb. It doesn’t look that tough, but it’s steeper than it looks and with the ground frozen under the top layer on slick dirt…it’s a challenge.
Tremor handled it well. I didn’t think the trail control was going to be a big deal, but without a low range, it’s kinda handy.
Trying to find somewhere to get a wheel in the air to test locker.
I believe the FX4/Tremor meter displays degrees of slope, not %. That hill is more likely in the 10-15 degree range, or ~20-30%, I would guess. A lot of my driveway is up a 12 degree grade until it levels out. Doesn't look too bad until you're on it!It's tough to capture on video how steep a grade or difficult terrain is on video. Very similar to the terrain I'll be taking my Tremor over. Nice videos!
It goes places the Model Y would not.I will be giving up a Model 3 for the Tremor.
How have you liked it so far?
Yep. Totally does - I'm a moron.I believe the FX4/Tremor meter displays degrees of slope, not %. That hill is more likely in the 10-15 degree range, or ~20-30%, I would guess. A lot of my driveway is up a 12 degree grade until it levels out. Doesn't look too bad until you're on it!![]()

I ordered my Model 3 after a 6pk on the day my Bronco hit Ice Mountain (chip hold). I wish I had ordered a Model Y that night. It goes places the Model Y would not.
Just a different experience. Certainly not as high end and not as fast. But it will do a lot of things better. I will miss the Tesla though…and Elon’s gimmicks.
Yep. I’m actually going to do a Ranger Lifts lift since it says it works with Tremor too. So maybe 75s. Trying to decided if I want to go KO2 or something a little more conservative.Looks ripe for some 245/70r17s!
Nice I hadnt checked about the lift kits fitment recently. Im gonna wear out my 235s first, but Im trying to decide between Duratracs and Maxxis Bighorn MTs. I figure if its gonna affect the MPG anyway why not go mud tire. The traction difference off road between MTs and KO2 is about the same difference between Ko2s and the Pirellis. Next time my driveway washes out I dont wanna be stuck at home.Yep. I’m actually going to do a Ranger Lifts lift since it says it works with Tremor too. So maybe 75s.
