12/19/22 Production Date, anyone gotten a Window Sticker yet? Updated, Sticker received....

I'm happy and embarrassed to say, yes, I have had an update. It's "shipped" with expected arrival at the dealership in late January.

That’s awesome! No need to be embarrassed, there isn’t a lot of information available and the info that is available isn’t consistent. I received my first 45-day email this morning, but I went into production on the 21st. Spoke with Ford Chat today and they informed me that I’m in the Body Shop phase, so I’m guessing I was held up by the holiday break. I don’t think anyone actually knows what’s going on- haha

I got the same email this morning. "In Production" but supply issue constraints. No modules yet either.

Congrats, let me know how it goes! I tried to talk interest rates in early December (pre-production but after scheduling) with our dealer but was told it was too early

Here is my timeline, I know I appreciate seeing these.

Maverick XL Hybrid, carbonized grey, engine block heater and hitch

Summer 2021…close to ordering, but didn’t
Winter 2022…tried to order, couldn’t
9/16/22…dealership reached out to say I can order
9/17/22…ordered in person at McGee ford in Montpelier, VT, at MSRP (don’t know my priority code)
9/17…received email confirmation of order
10/28…received email scheduled 12/12 week for production and VIN issued
11/22…received Ford email re adjustment to production week, delayed from 12/12 to 12/19
12/14…found status changed from “scheduled” to “in production” on shop.ford.com (no sticker)
12/16…found window sticker available on shop.ford.com with 12/14/22 date, 118/1071, and last six of vin A04xxx
12/16…checking motorcraftservice.com but blank screen/nothing loads
12/17-12/23…Daily checks, no changes
12/24…window sticker date on lower border changed to 12/24, continues to change daily.
12/25…checked modules again, downloadable file available, but don’t see codes
12/26-28…no changes
12/29…received email “ We understand it has been too long…..an update on the status of your Maverick XL order. While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of December 19, 2022, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty.“
12/29…called customer service, 12/23 last update, it is “in production”, shows “body shop”, and there are no holds.

If you are at the body shop, it should have the modules????? So strange.....

Ford Chat has that info, yes, you'll need to rail car for that....from Mex to Mira Loma is about 1100 miles by car, don't know what the train miles are, I would venture to say, about the same...,,from MIra Loma to dealer, probably another 1-2 Days....

If you are at the body shop, it should have the modules????? So strange.....

He wouldn't see modules pop up since the body shop phase is only when the truck is painted. The next phase, trim line stage, is where the electronics, seats, and the components of the truck are installed. The trim line stage is final assembly and usually take 1-5 days max. I've been stuck on that stage since last Friday and others as well. That's why we're so confused as to why our trucks haven't been finished to be shipped.

Any news on interest rates from your dealer? Mine said we’d have to wait for delivery + January to see what’s available for APR. Otherwise our fam is looking at 4.5% for 36months or 4.9% for 48months from the credit union

I got a 3.24% at 48 months with my CU, they also have 4% CD. I get the loan and get a CD. So, net profit of .75%, they are paying me to use their money....

I also pick up a set of Gun Metal Bronco Sport wheels and tires on CL for $500....my XL with C360 is almost like a XLT...but $2K cheaper....
