Looking for an inexpensive, no bells and whistles, simple, soft rollup, bed cover. I see there are a few on Amazon and eBay but I would rather have your recommendations for those of you that have purchased installed and have had a chance to use them for a while.. if you could post the make and model and where you purchased, that would be super helpful because I need to buy one soon. Thank you in advance.

I have and love the Truxedo Pro x15. It lays very flat and looks great.

With tonneaus you get what you pay for. Tensioner systems, inside the rails vs on top, keeping tight, latching, staying dry all are a factor. Cheapest tonneau out there will clamp down and stay in place. The features come with laying down a couple hundred more.

As a former truck accessories retailer, I'm comfortable recommending any of the Truxedo covers, from Truxport on up. The Truxport has thinner material than the LoPro and only a 5-year warranty versus lifetime.

Extang is good quality, and we sold a lot of the Trifecta covers but that's a folding cover. For soft rollups, we always recommended Truxedo. The Pro X15 was just hitting the market as we were selling our shop, so I don't have direct experience with it, but it's probably on par with the LoPro.

I've had the cheap roll up covers in the past on my f150 and it didn't last very long. Caved in every snow storm until it tore. I went with Truxedo Truxport soft roll up this time and it's night and day difference. Amazon if you want to go that route has them for 289.00 Have you checked the market place here to see if a member might be selling one?
