21 waiting to go to Chapman now with some having already been delivered despite coming in after my father's, there were only a few waiting when his got to the yard. Really nothing we can do, for all we know this is on the transportation company and their logistics and neither Ford or the dealership has anything to do with when they get picked up.

Oh, I think it's definitely a United Road issue. I don't doubt they have a shortage of drivers at that particular depot, for whatever reason. And I agree Ford and the dealers have no direct authority over that process.

Still, the trucking company is a Ford contractor, and it would seem to me that if some depots like Newark are running with smooth efficiency and others like Wilmington are a show, why can't someone at Ford just call the CEO at United Road and say, "Hey pal, there are 2,000 customers waiting for you to get your rear in gear at Wilmington. If you like working for us, send some extra drivers over there and clear the backlog!"

Shit show is perspective I guess. For all we know there is still a lot of volume leaving Wilmington, somehow I don't think it's inefficiency on United Road's part. They have a couple of decades of logistics experience and there's probably a method to their madness. As for getting extra drivers well, that's a whole other story.

@pa-outdoorsman and @NoVaJimmy As I check United Road this morning I think I see a feature I didn't see before which is "Estimated Delivery" under the dealership name for my (and other vehicles). It's interesting that some vehicles 'pending pick-up' to my dealership have estimated delivery and some don't. Is this new? Did I miss this before? Are you seeing the same for yours?

From my experience all the vehicles for my dealer that come into Newark, NJ, get delivery estimates almost immediately but the vehicles in Wilmington just sit there "pending pickup" with no ETA.

My dealer says that's because those vehicles haven't actually been assigned to a driver yet.

My dealer says that's because those vehicles haven't actually been assigned to a driver yet.

My dealer currently has vehicles at Wilmington, Petersburg, and Baltimore in pending pick-up. Each location has a mix of estimated delivery dates and no dates listed.

My 9-16-22 order is Scheduled to be built Monday 12/19. My 11/4/2021 order 22/23 carryover is still locked in the system at priority 10 unable to make changes still unscheduled or Vin#. I'm glad I had to Make the Dealer order me a 2nd one.

Congrats on getting your new order scheduled. When it comes to the Maverick, customers really do have to be their own best advocate. No one else is really looking out for us.

Some interesting updates and metrics from United Road this morning. My dealer now has 9 vehicles that went from Pending Pick-up yesterday to In Route this morning from the Wilmington Yard specifically. Of those 9 - 5 are Mavericks; 2 are Broncos and 2 are Mach-Es. Each of the 9 In Routes have a Picked Up date of Dec 16th and an Estimated Delivery date of 14 Dec so...running 2 days behind schedule?

None of the In Route Maverick's are mine and my VIN still have an Estimated Delivery date of 16 Dec so perhaps it will get picked up on Monday....

Still no movement on my truck sitting in Wilmington. There are now three Bronco Sports with my Maverick all headed to my dealer. I have pretty much given up hope for Christmas. Maybe President's Day?

Wow, they start early! This order is already signed, sealed, and delivered to Northern Virginia by 10am this morning.
