BAP Black Appearance Package Details / Content?

Hey everyone.. so I was wondering if anybody has more details on the black appearance package than what we've received a couple months ago?

I know it covers:
Wheels
Accent bar
Interior seats
Interior trim
Ford emblems
Front grill
Mirrors
Door handles

What I don't know is if the front grill, mirrors and door handles are being painted black...or are they just going to be black plastic? Also is there anything I'm missing on this list?

From the packaging guide pictures it looks like black plastic and not paint.

I've seen that picture months ago. I'm looking for anything 'new'. It doesn't make sense for them to advertise black mirrors and black grill if it's the same exact plastic items you would get without the BAP... There has to be something different about it or there's no point in putting it in the package. I'm assuming when they say door handles they're referring to the interior.. but that's yet to be clarified as well.

It is extremely frustrating that @Ford Motor Company refuses to upload any REAL pictures of a BAP equipped Maverick.

It would literally take a total of 30 minutes to contact someone at Hermosillo, request them to take a few photos, then share them.

They constantly post pictures of Broncos coming off the assembly line.

But they can't do anything for the thousands of folks who ordered BAP, sight unseen, before Build and Price was even active.

All we get are contradicting computer generated photos.

Agreed. Based on the above picture I added it to my order. But if they put black door handles on a Lariat that's just silly. I want what the picture above shows.

That's interesting. I didn't think people liked the body color handles. I have a 22 Lariat and I would much rather have the handles be black to contrast my truck color..instead of just blending in.

That's exaclty why I liked color matched handles...they blend in. When they're black and contrast the body color I feel like it screams "cheap" to me. It's kinda why I though they put that option on the Lariat so it's more in line with other upper trim vehicles. I know it's all personal opinion so I can see why someone may like the back handle, it's just not for me.

I hear you, yeah different opinions. I think vehicles are looking cheaper and cheaper...especially tesla. I can't stand the rims they put on some of their vehicles. But with the handles, I just like the colors to contrast throughout the entire vehicle. The single color from headlight to tail light just feels like it needs more life. I've been considering putting one of those mountain looking decals on.

I'm the same way. The only things I don't want are the black handles and mirrors. If they are easy to swap, I will probably see if someone wants to swap with me. I have Atlas Blue if anyone is interested

Seems odd they upcharge for XL trim pieces and interior, throw on black painted 18" wheels and black accented headlight and tail lights and upcharge the heck out of it.

When I first heard about it I thought they'd be charging maybe seven or eight hundred given what's included. Checked out the build site and it's over $1,600!! (spits out coffee) I get some people really like that look but I'm a cheap bastard....

From Ford's website..clarifies that Lariat models retain body color door handles.

The high-res photo on website appears to show glossy black mirror caps, indicating it will receive painted caps, not just black textured plastic like standard models.

Oh man I can’t wait for those headlights to be on my truck

We don't really know if the seat apholstry will be identical to the XL.... we just have to wait until someone takes delivery of one I guess.... My guess (and it's a guess) is the seat material will be like an XLT equipped Tremor package... without the stiching and logo.. but that's just a guess..
