Don't forget local car dealers, if you aren't afraid of negotiating. Drive around and if the dealer's lot is empty, you have a good shot at making some money. Graduation is around the corner and all those grads will need some wheels.

Time is money. Some of us have more time than money. Some more money than time. Most of us find ourselves somewhere in the middle. If a dealership offer you X it's because they can sell it for 1.25X. Sell it to them and give up cheddar.
If the cheddar difference isn't enough to make you sell it yourself, do it.
Tons of buyers and few cars. Why give away cheddar?
These websites must only be interested in newer cars. I have a 2003 Chevy Astro that I use as a ski wagon and mountain camping vehicle, lifted, AWD, looks brand new (only 63k miles on it), and they offered me $300.00 for it. I could easily sell this for 10k private party.Try Driveway.com ....... you ALL may be surprising shocked at what they come back to you with.
I tested it on my 2015 Prius V and Driveway gave me $3k MORE than CarMax which was $300 more than Carvana. Driveway.com responded to email and phone text within 5 minutes of submitting. Not selling, but needed to get an evaluation only at this point and am pleasantly SHOCKED.
Unless you absolutely need the space or are 100% comfortable in an untested vehicle I suggest not selling or trading in your current vehicle. I kept mine and we saved money on insurance by dropping rental from it, it’s a good peace of mind having a backup ready to go. I only put 9300 miles on the truck in 1 year, tomorrow makes a year exactly, and I feel great knowing I have a brand new looking truck with under 10k miles.
I couldn’t stop driving it at first I loved it, but now it’s broken in so this year I’ll probably put only 8K miles on it. The old faithful daily is not even 150k and it’s a Toyota so I’ll keep it around another 100k and only then will I sell it. At that point my kiddo will be a few years from driving so may hold it for her. I’d do what my parents did and just sign the title to her, she can drive it to death or trade to a new used/new car when she’s ready.

When I have a dependable 4-door car that has 147k miles, starts every time, is a Toyota that will run a million miles on no oil lol, and a dealer offers $500 just so they can crush it…. It’s a no brainer.I passed down a few myself![]()

The used car market was going wild for a long time. It has cooled way down since I made that post in this thread. The current used car market for Mavs are still hot since there are less than 70,000 units sold over North America as of the latest report:
