Noticed this today. Not a strike from a rock, you can’t even see it from head on- as the picture shows

I notice two things, first is the mismatch on the lower edges, then looking closer there is paint
damage in the seam toward the bottom. If I were to guess it would be your Mav was butt bumped by a heifer in a parking lot.

It hasn’t been. Looked at that. Or for that I should say. Plus I haven’t been in any parking lots where the front is accessible

I disagree with another object causing the damage. Maybe the other panel scraped it if misaligned or just a bad quality area done from Ford? (Assuming nothing hit it)

Could have even been an air bubble in the paint. My front passenger side panel is also misaligned exactly the same way. Likely put together by the same person. 😆

My personal opinion is that the Maverick doesn't have a chemical bond between primer and top coat. Thank the EPA and Osha.

May be a warranty concern. Gaps to tight at top and misaligned at bottom most of all looks like the paint is not adhering to the bumper poss didn’t get A good cote of adhesion promoter flex additives at factory
