Got my ride, love 90% of it, only gripe is the brightness of the screen & the dealer add-on was not done and I have to schedule that. I got hit with a Dealer added protection pack that was done while without asking me. Window tint, locking lugs and door edge guard, for $99, They claim 1st oil change is free with use of my Ford points.![]()

I'm glad for you for staying patient, but sorry to say the dealer add-on equates to an ADM. All that for $995?!![]()

oil change and tire rotation IF I use my Ford Pass PointsI'm glad for you for staying patient, but sorry to say the dealer add-on equates to an ADM. All that for $995?!
An oil change and tire rotation is <$100 at Ford.
Then it's not free since ford pass points have a cash value.oil change and tire rotation IF I use my Ford Pass Points
The credit card is worth it? I don't need another cardThen it's not free since ford pass points have a cash value.
Points paid for half of my dealer installed rhinoliner. They give you a bunch of points for the purchase. Also, if you get a ford credit card and spend a certain amount in the first 3 months you earn a buttload of points. I put part of my down payment on the card, got the points then paid it off. That rhinoliner sure is nice.![]()
For me, playing the points game to the hilt was worth 1/2 the cost of a rhinoliner. The credit card is worth it? I don't need another card
She's gorgeous! Never tire of looking at this truck. I had no idea Ford offered door guards. I put on aftermarket, but I'm guessing Ford uses the clear versions. Much cleaner look than than black, but the black does not use glue to adhere and it's a much more solid build. Has a metal band to hold it in place. Don't like using glue on the paint.![]()

I ordered my Lariat Lux Hybrid in 9/16/22 and this makes me think I have two options:I am still waiting for my lariat lux hybrid. 405 days and not even scheduled for production
Good luck, the whole process seems so random. I would have gone with F150 but I want a truck that I can keep in the garageI ordered my Lariat Lux Hybrid in 9/16/22 and this makes me think I have two options:
1. Say F it and keep driving F150s
2. Change my order to an Ecoboost to even have a chance of getting one of these damn things.
Right now I am leaning towards the F150 plan...
You also get a $100 statement credit after spending $3000 and additional $200 credit after spending $6000.For me, playing the points game to the hilt was worth 1/2 the cost of a rhinoliner.
The card has a high interest rate so unless you are fully prepared to pay it off every month don't bother. It pays extra points for service and stuff at the dealers. Read the website - it explains it. They run points promotions occasionally as well.

The best way to play the game is to get the points from the purchase and the points from getting the card and putting money on it in the first 90 days. You get a big chunk that. Then use those points to offset the cost for something expensive. It takes a LOT of points to add up to anything significant so getting the card makes sense if you want to rack them up.
My plan is to use it to pay for dealer services then redeem the points for accessories.
They also have "milestones" game to play with tiers that will get you things like pickup and delivery for service and increased points earned for service.
ETA you need the fordpass app as well. The devil is in the details.
Be smart and you can make it work.
