Does anyone know how to get this to stop popping up all the time?

That would be to easy
I guess I’m just completely ignorant how to work technology because to me, when I’ve checked the settings I don’t see an option to disable notifications. Only to turn off connectivity completely.

All this technology comes at a cost, primarily privacy.

The information gathered by your vehicle, and your cell phone apps are distributed to many areas, most of which we are unaware of.

Maybe the answer is " it cant be turned off if you have data collection on." if so fine, I was just wondering why I get notified multiple times per drive. lol

just curious…
what all do you have to have turned on to allow you to open the doors or remote start in the Ford App?

Don’t ask that question. You will be told to check the settings and then someone will roll their eyes and talk about big brother and being tracked.
The simple answer is no, the notice will come up if you have any of them on.

I had an XL for a month. I never saw this message and I had the same settings as you. So I don't know what is going on with your truck.

Finally someone with a helpful answer. Wonder if I should just reset.

Well, I didn't want to ask if you'd done that. But yes, if you have not, then definitely reset it.

It is not necessary to completely reset if you just want Ford pass app to stop collecting location data (location, speed, direction, ect) Someone above posted the settings screen and you can tweak data collected there.

Turning off location also disables the remote things you can do with your smart phone like start, locate etc. So if you want those remote functions, location has to be turned on.

I don't consider it a fair trade (my data for the service and points) and have turned everything off you can. I may do the full reset later. Ford dealerships really push the Ford Pass app and connected services. Probably Ford pushes the dealerships to do so. My sales person followed me out the the car and did the installation for me.
