The $32 sounds more like it. Take that buyers order you have in and ask them about why they aren't honoring it. Call Ford while in the showroom if they still refuse.
Yep, that's what I am going to do. I am still waiting for a response to my email to them.

Before you figure you won't win, check with an atty. A contract does not need to be signed to be valid. Contracts can even be verbal. IMO basic business law tells me the dealer's order form is their price offer to you. Acceptance of that price by having them place an order under your name and driver's license = Contract.

Yes they want you to get mad and cancel because they will probably ADM $10-20K to some sucker on their lot.
An attorney would cost more than the $3000.

I'd be worried they would claim that you are refusing it and selling to someone else. If possible, go in now.

Much, much more. That is why I want to shame them into honoring the agreement. I can also threaten them with other things.

Wait. Is the dealer adding a dealer markup of $3000, or did the MSRP go up $3k since you ordered? If you have price protection from Ford (which you should), then they can apply for it and give you the original price.

It is the msrp that went up I guess because there is no dealer mark up shown.

Yep...especially if he has an email where they say the price is X

My MSRP went up and the sticker shows higher but the dealership is honoring the original buyers order which would have been my sticker if it had been built last year. That's how it is supposed to work. Sounds like his dealership is applying the new MSRP and adding on to it even.

Most attorneys give free initial consultations. He or she may recommend small claims court if there really is a contract. The dealer will have a hard time explaining the $3k if they are getting reimbursed by Ford. Judges usually do not like anyone double dipping.

My dealer today told me I couldn't get the price protection AND the rate protection, that I had to choose. So I chose the rate. But my MSRP only went up $1300

Not true. Just last month, a dealer (who did pull some other sketchy things), honored all of the following:

A-Plan (employee/family pricing)
Price protection (upfront)
Incentive protection (totaling $1,800)
Ford Credit APR protection (1.9%/60 mo)

A dealer who says otherwise is telling you they're either unwilling to do so or they are unaware how to do so.

mine was the same (in Canada) - honoured x plan pricing, original price and showed me interest rates and i said "weren't interest rates protected as well?" and he clicked the little radio button that reverted to the financing % back then (3.49% vs now 4.49%)
