Just about everyone knows we had cat 4 hurricane hit the southwest coast of Florida resulting in massive power outages. For me and thousands of others, we were forced to charge our phone from our vehicle. Some could activate their car by putting the ignition "on" (possibly running their vehicle battery so low it wouldn't start), some actually had to start the engine burning gas just to charge the phone.
I connected my phone and turned my Mav to the ready position. The phone started charging. When the Mav's engine battery got low, the engine started automatically recharging the battery and when completed shut the engine down. This process continued for as long as I wanted to keep charging my phone.
I never had to worry about a dead battery, nor burning gas needlessly.
It's nice having such a smart vehicle.
