Area 51 or Atlas Blue ?

Alto blue easily the best blue

Alto is more black than blue.

Atlas is a beautiful mid blue as shown here in the middle:

Atlas blue is nice but seeing a lot of blue and grey trucks, what ever happened to browns and greens? I liked the Area 51 when I saw the Bronco sport before there were any Mavericks on the street. So why not combine blue/grey and you have Area 51. I don't have a favorite color and my other Mav is CG. My only color issue is black, a real pita to keep clean so its a young persons truck that doesn't mind the extra work to keep to nice. Work ruck white is the easiest to maintain.

I have owned both black and white trucks, both are a pain to keep clean.. and yes,, We need more vehicle colors.. the auto world is soooo bland at the moment in its color choices…. I like color on my vehicles.. applejack green mini was my first car, had minis of every color, … and currently…. This titanic beast..

Ahh, a very subtle blue black combo, Nice.. but think it will be a bear to keep clean.. so still between Atlas and 51.. thank you for the input and pictures.. I want those mustang molds…. Lol

My 2c, Area 51 is either the wave of the future or something that will date your truck to the dark days post-Covid when even Ford couldn't make enough Ford badges. I love the color (and Cactus too), but I didn't love it enough to put it on mine.

I did wander if all the “muted” colors were a result of pigment shortages.. it does seem grey/white/51 etc are easier and potentially cheaper to make than strong colors.. umm.. will 51 die when (if) supply chains resolve themselves…. ??.. thanks for the input..

While I love how the Maverick sports the Area 51, that color is rapidly becoming a bit too common. If you're looking for a unique blue, go with the Atlas.

i almost opted for area 51 when I ordered mine but went with a more traditional (and relatively boring) gray.
I see at least a dozen Bronco sports on the road each day as well as a hand full of a Broncos, and at least half of them are Area 51. It isn't all that nice of a color to begin with and now it doesn't even have a uniqueness about it. So yeah, Atlas blue all the way.
