I ordered a pretty basic Maverick Hybrid XL on October 25, 2021. I received an order confirmation the next day, and the standard no-real-info e-mails but no VIN, build date or anything else. I'm thinking I'm looking at a reorder of a 2023 now. But how? When? Is Ford going to wait until the day of that to give any info? Will they tell dealers how to do this? When?
I called Ford Marketing last week and all they could say is "ask your dealer.” The problem is, my dealer seems to know nothing. Is this screwed up or what? Argghh!

Mine is still in the parts bin I guess. I am a Eco XL January order. I do have a build week of Sept 26 and a Vin.

I ordered a base hybrid XL on October 30 and have a build date of September 19. Only option is a drop-in bedliner. Don’t give up getting a 2022 model. I think there is a chance the 2022 model production end date will be moved into December.

Early 10/21 order here. Per Ford chat, still confirmed without VIN or Production schedule. Growing frustraition as I see similar builds who ordered in 11/21+ get their VINs.

XL hybrid...DIBL...full spare...hitch receiver...carb gray...ordered and confirmed 10-23-21.
Production week changed several times...latest is 9/5. Today (9/4), the Window Sticker appeared!!
It's REAL! Next are the modules.

Thanks for the link. I was able to get through to chat. Waste of time though. All they could say was my order was "being processed." No VIN, no scheduled date. They couldn't even confirm whether my COVP had been properly submitted. No info on '22-23 conversion, the reorder date or procedure.
The pat answer seemed to be "ask your dealer.". Swell, my dealer doesn't know anything.
Waiting is hard but waiting and not even being sure your order is coming at all? Torture!

Mine is currently sitting on a shipping ramp in Hermosillo, now I know either my dealer or ford doesn’t take orders in order though, just looked at my dealers website today and there’s a maverick with almost my exact same build that was ordered after mine (I know cause the dealers order numbers go in sequence with my order number being 5597 and this other maverick having an order number of 6025). Only thing I can figure is there’s a few accessory differences with mine having the rear sliding window and all weather floor mats where this other maverick doesn’t, on the positive side the one on the way to the dealership had the hot spot deleted and mine still got it lol. Still strange though cause I see the blend date on the one that’s going to the dealer was 8/25 where mine has blend date of 8/19
