I BET I'M 21
GOOD FOR YOU, I ALSO ORDER FROM KOCH 33, 11-04-21 XL. NO NEWS YET. DEALER NEVER CALLS WITH ANT UP DATES
THEN I UPGRADED TO A XLT END OF JULY, FOUND OUT I'M AT THE BACK END OF THE LINE BUT BEFORE MY23. DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO WAIT ANY LONGER. TEST DRIVING RAV 4 ON TUESDAY. LEHIGH VALLEY HYUNDAI GETS SANTA CRUZ IN THAT AREN'T PRE SOLD.
Yeah, if you switched from XL to XLT in July you reset your order date to the back of the line. That stinks man. Had you stuck with the XL, you might have a build date. Then again, with the way Ford operates, trying to make sense of it is a losing game.

Best of luck to you, whatever you decide. The Santa Cruz isn't for me, but I hear it's a nice vehicle. And the RAV4 hybrids are really nice!

Pinch me...is this true!?!?!?

You all inspired me so I called just to see, I ordered last day, Jan 27, to my absolute shock I have a vin!!!

XLT, EB, FX4, Sunroof -No window sticker available yet, hoping my excitement is warranted since I have a VIN!
Tim Bartz @fordvideoguy always says, "IF YOU HAVE A VIN, YOU ARE GETTING A 22!" I take the man at his word.

Congratulations on moving out of the first line and getting into the second line! What is your build week? Also, your window sticker won't be available until a few days before production, so don't worry about that.

Build week of 10/10 if I understood FORD rep correctly.

FORD chat told me she has had more than DOUBLE the usual amount of VINs assigned in the last week.

Hope that doesn’t mean they’re squeezing in more at the end and quality suffers

They are closing out the model year and scheduling all they can, I'm sure. My bet is Ford ends up tacking on an extra week or two of MY22 production, rolling into late November or early December before they finally switch over to MY23.

My humble guess is Ford is going to adjust the mix the next couple of months and go to a higher mix percentage of maverick over bronco sport. Sport doesn’t seem to be in demand, maverick is..so why lose customers who won’t roll over to 23? Build what the people want!

Could be provided they have the parts needed.

agreed, just my thoughts.

they should be planning on a 75 maverick 25% sport mix for 23
IDK if it's that skewed. I see a lot of Bronco Sports on the road. They are popular. But you can also find them readily in lots everywhere. So yes Ford would be wise to increase Maverick production as much as possible.

I think the only reason you see so many is they are relatively easy to get.

Chevy Sparks are easy to get I don't see that many.

The Bronco Sport is a sharp vehicle.

My guess, based on Ford's track record to date, is that another extension of MY22 production into December is possible to likely. Again, just to give them time to build all these trucks they are committing to build.

So, that might force them to further delay opening of the MY23 order banks. But realistically, they CAN'T build MY22 Mavericks once calendar year 2023 arrives. So, I'd imagine they want to be wrapped up by mid-December, though some of us may not see our trucks on dealer lots until January 2023.

Just my gut feeling on it all. I have no actual information indicating this will happen.
Hoping for everyone who’s still waiting sake they get as many as they can done in 22. Just feel like all of these VIN’s with constant production week pushes seems extremely ambitious.
