Got it today…10 months and 2 weeks…YES

The Mav has arrived and the short trip we took was very impressive for me. I have never owned a truck. This is exactly the size I wanted and i expect, will need.
XL Hybrid with CP360 and a hitch.

A big shout out to Coughlin Ford in Heath, Ohio who honored the 9/20/21 list price with $0 adds. Thanks to my salesman Tyler who put up with the many inquiries of the process. My only issue was they did not accept the X-Plan, for which I was told, the discount affected the dealership bottom line and was not given credit by Ford Corp like the A-Z Plan. That certainly was not a deal breaker, but it would have paid for some accessories I purchased after the sale. However, I am very pleased at the end of the day.

Thanks to this forum, I was able to also get the 0% for 36 mths financing. I’m sure I will investigate in the forum how to add cruise control and other accessories. Any volunteers in Ohio who know how to add cruise control via Forscan?

Where did you get the 0% for 36 months?

From this forum, I learned that you must ask the dealer‘s finance guy to check Smart Vincent, which is a Ford program, and have them use the “protection date” and not the “sale date”. There is another thread on this forum that has pics of that screen.

‘One thing I want to add is that per the tracker, my Mav was built on 5/23. I was reading that it could take several weeks before being delivered. After visiting my dealership, they gave me a printout that it was sitting in Michigan assembly plant. Then, I heard about the recalls, etc relating to the hybrid so I thought they were working on those issues and that was part of the delay. I called customer service July 21 and she said it was to be delivered July 28. No delivery on July 28, so I called again. This customer service person said she did not understand why it has been sitting in Michigan for over a month and was going to start a logistics inquiry and that I would know something within 5 days. The truck arrived 3 days later! Coincidence, maybe but I tend to believe that inquiry got the ball rolling.
