Ford Maverick My New Maverick 077CC068-113D-4D53-A0E2-AEDF57273520

I am almost embarrassed to admit that I only waited three weeks for Maverick. Polito Ford in Ontario had one coming in that was not already sold. It had the exact trim I wanted and they were very straightforward and sold it at sticker without any extra unwanted fees or add ons. It arrived from Mexico three weeks earlier than expected although it was driven a hundred km to the dealer since there were no transport vehicles available to deliver it. Coming from a 7 year old Mercedes B class I am really enjoying all the driver aids like adaptive cruise control and lane centering etc. I have the B&O stereo and I never realized how bad my previous stereo was until now. The truck is great to drive, quiet, comfortable and I love it.

Something weird about Canadians. They don't constantly shoot each other. And they get their Mavericks on time. Must be something in the water up there.

And curling, what’s up with that ? I do like the bigger football fields, though. Go Roughriders or is it Rough Riders ?

Appears Ford Canada also has a bit more common sense. The vehicle was driven to the dealer since a convoy was not available. This makes sense for short distances. Dealer could even call the buyer to make sure he/she agreed!

lol, I know someone in Mississauga who got a call from his dealer that his was stuck in a railyard north end of Toronto and wondered if he wanted it driven to the dealership. Buyer picked up salesman or sales manager, not sure which, and drove him to the railyard. Dealer drove it back to the dealership did the PDI and buyer had it next day... Canadians are (generally) like that. Whatever it takes.

Very nice ! I'm currently in a similar situation as you once were. I did originally placed an order, however I managed to find a dealership up North that had a few units on order, thankfully they had one almost identical as what I wanted coming in. The truck has now been built and is currently in a shipyard in Toronto waiting for a transport. My question for you is: did your dealership went to pick up the vehicle them selves? Curious too see if I could ask to go pick it up myself. Since it's been siting there for a week now... Thanks and congratulations!

The dealership did not go and get it themselves as far as I know. But I don’t know that for sure but I doubt it. I can’t imagine you would be able to do it yourself. It’s not your car until the paperwork is done and you need them to do the pre-delivery inspections to make sure it all works properly. I’m sure it won’t take long.

Well, my estimated delivery date hasn't changed yet 07-12-2022 / 07-18-2022 so fingers crossed! 🤞

You've been deceived, we have plenty of gang members shooting each other here. Plenty of people here are waiting for Maverick deliveries too. :ROFLMAO:
