Always nice to see individual mods. I will say that without a airbox you will entrain warm air (from engine compartment) and reduce any “cold air intake” potential.

Yes probably the race chip tune.Freaking nice man. Looks great. Glad to see some people doing performance mods. Since you modified intake/exhaust do you see yourself doing a tune down the road? I've been debating keeping it stock but after this I may do similar performance mods.
Cold air intake for a turbo is wasted money. When turbo compress intake air it heats up (a lot). It needs to be cooler between turbo and MAF.Always nice to see individual mods. The strips look badass, think you could drop the Amazon link? Nice build so far! Glad to see you’re loving the Mav.Actually just on Amazon! It’s a mustang kit. I’m leaning towards taking these black ones off though and ordering a grey kit instead. Decisions decisions!
Some of us have money to "waste". Not everything needs to be for sheer performance. The love of the automobile is more that pure function. This is fine. We will each trek our own course here. OP is only sharing not asking. Your point is however noted. (Goes to install my cai)Cold air intake for a turbo is wasted money. When turbo compress intake air it heats up (a lot). High flow is goal for increased EB performance.
Looks good, I too am partial to Bumble Bees.....

And I was making a factual point not an opinion on what to spend money on. I love a well appointed engine bay and I know it will not help performance. Some of us have money to "waste". imo depending on the routing a CAI can maybe net you a few ponies, certainly less than NA, and nothin the good ole butt dyno will notice. it wouldnt be worth it, only thing to be gained may be noise & throttle response if at all. but i suspect you could gain 1 or 2. just my opinion howeverAnd I was making a factual point not an opinion on what to spend money on. To each their own... however, show me one performance car that doesn’t have a cold air intake.Cold air intake for a turbo is wasted money. When turbo compress intake air it heats up (a lot). It needs to be cooler between turbo and MAF.

My “wasted money” as he called it was very minimum. One piece of pipe and a filter that did make a noticeable difference. The noise was just a bonusAnd yes, stickers are everything

I’m not too concerned. If I did need to put the stock exhaust back on, it would take 5 minutes. I didn’t drill any extra holes underneath either.Great looking mods! Here's a question I have...when you make mods to a vehicle still in warranty, will Ford come back and try to claim you voided the warranty by doing the modifications if you actually need warranty service? I have no idea how that works.
