So I thought it was time to torture myself again today so I called Ford Customer Service regarding my October base hybrid xl . Once again, no build date or vin. The guy tells me he thinks I am looking at getting a 2023 at this point. He says to check with dealer to see how many orders are ahead of me. So I call the dealer and he tells me that they are still waiting on 35 and there are about 15 ahead of me. He said he has no idea how many will arrive each month. Sometimes they get 15, some months only 2. He also said he has been seeing some with lots of options come in before base models regardless of date ordered. He told me despite what customer service said, he thinks it is too early to say that it will turn into a 2023. They have only had one buyer cancel their order. I don’t think anyone has any idea how these are being built.

read a reply on here the other day where Tim B said we can expect official notice of rollover to MY2023 ~end of July, or closer to August 1. I'll take that to the bank before a dealer's opinion or customer service rep guessing. In my own case I drop in on my dealer maybe every 1-2 weeks when I go run errands on the other side of town (5 miles). On friendly terms with crew there and they tell me what they know and we compare vs. stuff I find out here, and I always get update on Visibility report. Talked to my rep, sales mgr and finance manager and the 1 Maverick that was ahead of me and also priority 2 was now showing being built. That was ordered 1 month before me. Not 100% convinced it will all go smoothly from here, but seems to be good news? Maybe I'll get lucky and get scheduled for build date in August or Sept. Reasonably sure I'll get in production before the October 21st last day for MY2022 production. As always just have to wait and see....

Ford included. It’s laughable at this point. This is good news though about the around august 1 cut off date. Gives me a firm date to know whether I get one or go on my way.
