Could this be why my Maverick is not getting allocated?

Why did Joe Schmo who ordered the same truck from the dealer the next town over get his already, after ordering 2 months later than I did?

It seems like my dealer probably got caught selling new vehicles over MSRP and Ford is waging war on them by withholding my new vehicle order from being allocated to them. LINK

Does anyone have any tips on who I need to contact at Ford, or how much hell I need to raise, to get my truck allocated? I expected 4-6 months of waiting, but now I fear it may never get built.

Bowties have never let me down like this. I should have just bought a Colorado...

I have a 2012 Chevy Colorado with almost 131,000 miles. I am religious about oil changes, but all I have done to it is replaced tires once, replaced fuel pump once, and replaced battery once. I know the Chevy dealer near me had some new ones on the lot a few weeks ago.

Nice I may have to check em' out!

I have a 2006 Chevy Hhr with 167,000 miles that I'm limping by, day by day, since the day I ordered my Mav. I'm starting to think I might put a LS motor in it and tell Ford to kick rocks.

I ordered a base hybrid XL with only a drop in bedliner. When I ordered , sales guy said between March and at the latest August. We both laughed about it actually taking until August. I still don’t have a build date and although I have saved more for a down payment, the gas prices are killing me and I have no idea if I will still be able to get $6,000 for my trade in.

I feel your pain! I specifically avoided a Hybrid thinking it would speed up delivery but it hasn't made a single bit of difference.

Ordered 7/26/21, Lariat Hybrid, First Edition, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 after about five push backs, finally scheduled last week. It will probably be a year before I actually receive. Hoping sooner!!!

I've resigned myself to the fact it will prolly be a year for me from the August 15 ordering date regardless of what the dealer may or may not be saying about it. I can live with it. The way I see it I am not bound to take it and if a great deal on something pops up in the meantime, oh happy day. I only drive 2500 miles a year so it is not asking much for the old Ranger to keep chooglin' on.

The bigger issue for me is what will interest rates be like a year from now. If they start climbing up to 1980's style rates, the old Ranger may be looking better and better. I'm old enough to remember people back then paying up to 15%. Hopefully it won't come to that.

The interest rates for the truck are one factor, another is the housing market which I've held off on selling my home because I would like the truck to move... Add the two together and the wait is getting more hurtful.... I've been told the dealer will honor the rate and incentives that were available at the time of the order... If that is the case I'll be slightly less frustrated with the wait. (3% for 6 years or 0% for 3 years, or something like that)

Do you think Ford avoided your order by shadow banning your dealer?
