I just made my first tow with my truck. Using a Tractor Supply 4x8 trailer hauled a zero-turn mower, don’t know the weight for sure but guessing between 800 and 1000 pounds combined weight. The little truck handled the load well, I was traveling down a hilly part of the highway running about 60 MPH. The truck and brakes are heavy enough to stop the trailer and I was in tow mode, I could tell the transmission was acting different. Gas mileage wasn’t as bad as I expect, because as soon as I put it in tow mode the ICE started. The trip mileage was 27.9 I average around 46.8 local normally. All in all good trip.
