Yeah, I originally had Alto Blue but changed because it was too dark most of the time. It is definitely Area 51 that is the post popular. I think Alto Blue is probably the second lowest outside of Rapid Red which is only on 1st Editions.

I actually did like the Rapid Red, but didn't want to get the First Edition for some reason. It may have (EDITED) been because my wife's car is red and didn't want two red vehicles. Also didn't care enough about what the First Edition added as a package.
You are correct, as of May, Area 51 was the most popular color. I guess according to what forum you read about votes on colors it can be different but it appears based solely on orders at Ford, Area 51 is the most popular.

Yeah, I didn't really care for the Area 51 until I saw it in person, same with Catcus Gray. I will say that Area 51 looks better on a Bronco Sport than a Maverick for some reason. I added the black rims to my order as it seems to make those two colors pop more.

What?? ---- Common problem. You can read about it and all the other owner comments on the F150 forums. Do a google search "tiny rust spots in my F150 white paint..." Here is an example from a F150 owners forum thread--" I have a 2011 f150 lariat limited and just noticed little tiny rust spots (size of pinhead) all over my entire truck. I was thinking maybe the paint has metal flecks in it and those are rusting?! Any info or has anyone had the same problem ." ........ Another example

Is anyone else experience what looks like micro rust spots in their paint? I live in NE. I have had the truck for a year this June. I noticed yesterday when i was hosing it down that there are like micro spots of what looks like rust on the tailgate mostly, but some other areas too. does anyone know what this is?

Aww, I think you are saying that Area51 is the best color. I agree! Actually, didnt know but my wife really liked it. I think I would have liked a bolder color, but its growing on me. I'm old enough to remember when white paint was always the thinnest and so I just naturally shy away from it as a color choice. Looks nice though. I had a ford black and white once, but didnt last very long with my teenage driving skills (yes, my car at 16. no seat belt, no kidding)
How odd! I have a white vehicle and have not had that issue.
From reading - it looks like it isn't exclusive to white vehicles, only that it's much more obvious with white vehicles.
Yes- you are correct. Most apparent on white. Looks like a wide spread out area of freckles. Drives me nuts.

Again FAULSE geez. Black is the absence of color. That white paint could have 3, 4, 5 tints init to get the color Ford wanted. WTFTechnically, when speaking of colors of paint, white is the absence of color. So, technically your favorite color is not a color..
I believe the discussion was about pure white paint. However, I never question anyone who THINKS they know more than me. It is counter-productive.

Cactus grey does look a little different on each rig we have seen in person with that color- BS/Bronco/Ranger/Maverick- Changed from CS to HPR then back to CG after seeing in person. I like HPR but it needs more Orange and less "Cinnamon" IMO - I also opted for the FX4 rims after not being a fan of black rims, thought CG looked better with black instead of aluminum /machined/colored units.
