Thanks. This is pretty much exactly what I am doing.
I actually don't like all weather mats but there are no proper carpet mats, so I went with the Ford all weather mats, just ordered them today. I also ordered the extang trifecta signature from realtruck for 400 dollars including shipping and tax. I think this is a great value. Next would be the spray in bedliner. I also ordered two bags, one which fits under the back seat and one behind the seat. That is it thus far.

Mine had carpeted floor mats for the front.

Tailgate assist, smoke hood protector, ford maverick mats. Will also likely get bed extender and put on engine cover. Will get aftermarket rockblockz mud guards to reduce paint chips behind the wheels. Will add Tonneau likely once I figure out how/impact with a DIBL since that is what I had to get with XLT Lux package.

The less you use the hitch; the more you would want a cover to protect it. If left exposed the hitch will be a rust haven from non use. Instead of using a cover. Have you considered any of these options: bike rack, cargo box, wheelchair, or step?

Back in the early 1980s, my brother had a 55 chevy four door. At was a beautiful car but it had an 8 track player in it. It was painful to hear songs cut and restarted on the next track. Believe it or not some tapes did that. Well, if nothing else, it was where I listened to Pink Floyd's The Wall album as Van Halen 1 many times before I had my own four in one stereo system.
