I got price protection with them not knowing about it. I informed the dealer that my July price was protected and they claimed they didn't mark anything up. I said "I know you didn't mark it up, Ford raised MSRP in December, the price I ordered on is several hundered cheaper". They checked with Ford and came back with the old MSRP I didn't even have to get my signed purchase agreement out of the car, that was the end of it, we moved on to the financing. To be honest this is the least fucked I've ever felt after a vehicle purchase. I will only be ordering vehicles from now on.

After you placed your Maverick order in November, did you contact your dealer and make any changes to your order ? If you made changes you would only be price protected from the date of edit, not the initial order.

Print out the memo Ford sent to the dealers about the price protection and when sitting down to sign the papers show it to them.

Some dealers are real SCUM BAG A-HOLES, we as consumers need to report these SCUM BAGS to ford, If Ford gets enough complaints then maybe they will do somethimg about these SCUM BAGS

I told them we were gonna just let the 110$ roll off us because In the larger scheme that’s not a lot and my son needed a truck before prom and he’s been patient for 7 months waiting. Didn’t have the heart to turn it down over measly amount. But he got belligerent when I asked him to help me figure out why he didn’t know how to do price protection. Less than two minute conversation and we were told to leave. I begged him to sit down and talk to my husband while I left. Funnily enough, later after school was out our son said he wishes we would have told him to stick it too. But they then would have earned even more since they could have resold it for more if we refused it. I politely pointed out that he couldn’t sell it to anyone else if we didn’t turn it down. He yelled that he’d rather it rot on his lot than sell it to us. At which point he tried to leave the room and take his toys with him like the toddler he was.
