Why wouldn't the dealer get the money back from Ford? Was the salesperson just mistaken? Was he/she lying?? Sounds like Ford is pretty official about price protection to me?

This sounds extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Maybe the salesperson needed to be more familiar with the price protection. Unless I'm missing something here.

Yep my salesman said He had no clue on anything price related and shipped me off the finance guy to haggle. Fordvideoguy told me it was the salesman’s job to get me the agreed upon price not the finance guy

My DORA says $24,370 but the current window sticker (for the truck expected to be delivered in the next 2wks) is $24,550. So, I just bring the printed DORA when we go to purchase and they should honor that price and submit a reimbursement to Ford?

Also, we have Farm Bureau Certificate, so I assume there should be no complications getting the $500 rebate? I am not looking forward to the process of picking this truck up and figuring out payment. Who would have guessed that ordering a car, nearly 11 months before delivery, would result in the biggest complicated mess I've ever dealt with buying a car.

You must have the XLT as that shows the $80.00 increase for the 2023M but apparently Ford just couldn't help themselves from adding it to our 2022M and now we have to educate the dealership that they need to submit a reimbursement form to Ford for the $80 bucks

It’s a xl eco with copilot. Just the copilot went up from 540 to 650

This bas#@$d TACKED on a “tire warranty for 399$ a theft protection program” for 300$ and used a credit union rebate to pay for it and called it FREE!

Ford complaint line was super nice and filled out an official complaint for “being beligerant with us and then finagling us into warranties we asked not to be added.”
