Well, so far, so good with my Carbonized Gray FE Hybrid after about 600 miles. The bulk of those miles were highway driving back from taking delivery from the dealership, so my overall MPG to-date is only 36 MPG. I have, though, been over 40 mpg on each city driving trip, all the way up to 48.9 mpg from work to home.

Thus far I've seemingly avoided the hood flutter (my drive from delivery dealership was around 70mph with fairly high wind). When I very first started driving upon delivery I did briefly smell something like coolant but haven't noticed anything of the sort since.

I noticed that my tires were inflated to 45 psi from the factory so I let out air to get it down near the sticker level of 35 psi.

While I haven't yet had time to try all of the technology (way more than I've ever had in a vehicle) but everything seems to be working so far.

The one annoyance thus far is the function of the proximity locking/unlocking of the doors - I've yet to have it work on a consistent basis, especially on the driver's side door. If that continues I'll likely get in to the dealership at some point to have it looked at. Obviously not a major deal, but still, things should work on a new truck.

One other annoyance (though, to be fair, I haven't yet fully researched it) is that apparently it's possible to accidentally lock the FOB in the truck - no warning notification (or inability to lock it inside) or anything like a Prius we used to have, but I need to look into that a bit more.

All in all, so far, so good - especially after a span of 278 days from order to delivery!!

I wouldn’t think locking the keys in the truck would be an issue with the lock pad on the door.

Agreed - and I can use the Ford Pass App to unlock it too, but I was a bit surprised regardless. Then, again, I'm used to almost no tech on my cars. 🤣
