Constrained items out the yin yang. Copilot 360. Spray in bed liner. Tri-fold Tonneau. Ford says they ain't got it? It's cause I got mine . This thing spent 2 months in production (1/13/22-3/13/22). Delivery Estimate 3/23-3-29. Actual delivery date 3/30/22.

Dealer is delivering it to my front door (850~ miles away) for only $500... seems like a bargain, but considering the $5995 markup I'm surprised it doesn't come with a full rub down massage from the sales manager's daughter.

This is a work truck. It happens to be the owners so it's a little nicer than the others... but it's a work truck

Doubt it, thats only for Raptor buyers. But you could get his brother in-law Buck to drive it to Burger King for his lunch break.

It's only money. It comes. It goes. You can always get more of it. You can even have uncle sam print more (he is really good at that).

A quick search suggests there isn't a Maverick in the entire country for sale in this same color/trim. It's pay what I paid or don't get it at all (or potentially get it at a later date. Perhaps at a lower price, but I wouldn't count on that happening).

Not 100% sure of the provenance of this order but I believe it was dealer stock. IIRC, "customer orders" have window stickers in green and will say "special order" at the bottom. My window sticker does not.

50k for a Maverick does seem a little insane... but it's fully loaded. It has everything. Heated steering wheels and moonroofs might not mean much to some people... but to me it's worth it. I'm a California kid stuck in Colorado. It gets cold and I'm not used to having to wear gloves. Give me a heated steering wheel, please!

The fact that a Ranger or F150 won't really fit in my garage also played a role in this decision, lol.

Plus... it's a work truck. I'll write almost all the mileage off. If I'm stuck sitting in it all day then I want it to be nice.

Holy crap. I bought my fully loaded Audi A5 new for $51k. I'm sure I'm going to love the thing but there's no way I'd spend that same money on a Maverick.

But still, congrats! Was your Maverick affected by the recall that was announced a couple of days ago?

Those of us with nearly the same build (but not paying for $1000 tonneaus and $1000 moonroofs and $800 wheels and $6000 markups) really do appreciate the efforts undertaken by those trying to keep our vehicle values up while we pay $15,000 less. Excellent work! Keep it up!!
