Have the exact same one (but with the Ford branding) and it sucks. Leaks every time it rains. Taking it into the dealer to see what my options are soon since it's covered under Ford warranty. It is for sure a quality control issue because it's at least an inch too short. Have no idea how their measurements made it through the entire design process.

My ford branded one is not too short, nor does it leak in the car wash. It does flap, flutter, bubble up in high wind at highway speed even though it is tight as a drum head when parked.
agreed

Ford Branded Truxedo rollup here as well. No runs, no drips, no errors.
Sealing well and getting the job done, just a little dirty right now hehe

Holy cow, they had to have made a revision to this tonneau after they noticed the initial issues. I have about an inch or so gap at the cab window and it barely covers the tailgate. Mine is a good 1 or 2 inches too short. 😤 I'll reference your pics to my dealer haha.

perhaps it's set too far back? did you try to move it forward a bit?

I read about the "too short" issues before I ordered this cover. I figured I'd cover my bases, and have Ford install it for me. That way if it does come up short and leak, I can point the finger at them
Was like an extra $30 or something like that ......
Tell your dealer to pardon the dirt on my pics. Had a dusty overnight rain here in Sunny AZ hehe.

When I first installed it, it looked like D Janke's pics, but that's when I noticed it didn't even cover the start of the tail gate. Just seemed way too short. I'll have to play around with it again this week and see if moving it up a bit will help. Thanks for the input though 😬

I got this Ford branded Truxedo one too. Mainly because it was available and all the others were on backorder. Yes it looked very short when it went on but it seems to work ok. Some very small leaks but it's been through the winter with snow and heavy rain. Doesn't leak any worse than any other canopy or tonneau I've had. Probably better than some. And at the price it is a good deal.

I have the Ford-branded one, and I am having no issues and it is drum tight.
I actually considered one the X-15 or Lo-Pro but every photo I've seen they appear to have slack in them which may not be a big deal to most, but a pet peeve for me.

Would you mind measuring your cover, for comparison.

Mine is at least an inch short, when I first installed it similar to your bulkhead picture, I could fit my fingers in between the cover and the tailgate.

For reference my tonneau is 55 inches long.

I haven't heard anyone complain about the Truxedo Low Pro or PRO X15. I was going to go with the TruXport but after multiple people saying it's to short I will probably go with the Low Pro.
Tono Sport Lo roll is what I went with, never had that brand, so this hope works out

Ok, Ford branded Truxedo Soft roll up is measured. The install flares out at the bottom where the cover actually meets the truck bed / insulating material, and that's where I measured from. The "top" of the cover is of course narrower.
I measure 56 1/8" cab to tailgate, on each side.
