Picked up my Maverick this morning...

Well, my long journey ended today when I picked up my Maverick from Washington Ford in Washington, PA this morning. I have been very nervous this entire time since my Maverick has everything but a moon roof.... Lariat Lux, 4K tow, FX4, tonneau cover, etc. I truly never thought it would be built.

I have to say that Washington Ford was amazing to deal with. Very kind from the beginning and always looked out for the customer. They even told me about the price increase since I placed my order and that they already adjusted back to my original price.....I didn't even have to mention it. Can't say enough about them.


The truck is better than I expected. Has great power, is large enough inside to be comfortable and handles a lot better than I would have thought. Only drove it for about an hour or so today, but I'm loving it so far

Mine seems a little short too. I'll take a closer look tomorrow morning and see if I can a measurement.

Congrats! That’s a sharp truck! I dig the color. If I didn’t get velocity blue it would be this color. You’ll love it just as much as I love mine. Truly an impressive vehicle for the $.

Mine seems a little short too. I'll take a closer look tomorrow morning and see if I can a measurement.

I think I have the same trifold tonneau and I thought mine was a little short also. I had issues with it buffeting so much behind the cab that I took it back to the dealer where they realized the clamps behind the cab had not been tightened and it was also not aligned perfectly. Once they fixEd that the cover seems to do a gold job keeping everything dry. I actually took a hose and tried to push water under the cover and very little got in so I think the size works fine.
