Yep we all get one and they are looking for reasons to punish the dealerships and sales staff. Ford seems to be following the GM model of screwing the salesmen and dealerships for their screwups.

I got it today, too. Filled it out. It's basically an "initial quality" survey. They want to know your first thoughts about what you like or don't like about the Maverick. It's short (only took a few minutes), and a good way to provide direct feedback to ford about the product.

And that is why all of the sales staff get dinged if the dealership doesn't get a 5 rating?

The part about the truck is fine, the part about Ford is fine but the part about the purchasing experience is where the dealerships get hosed. They got little training about the model year, little information about the offered packages and get hammered by Ford for any reason possible.

IIRC, this survey literally has four questions:
Would you recommend the maverick? (scale response)
What do you like most about the maverick? (text response)
What do you like the least about the maverick? (text response)
Anything else you would like to share? (text response)

There are other surveys you get about the sales experience shortly after you purchase the truck. This is about the product, so they don't care about the sales experience.

Yeah. That's the post-purchase survey. I think I got about three of them. This is an initial quality survey. They've also been doing some initial qualitative consumer research with owners (paying $75!).
