Thanks for the input. I've been very curious about the ceramic coating, as I've never used it before but really, really want to take care of this Maverick. What would you say it costs to have done, and how often should it be reapplied? Thanks!

Depends on the product used. Spray Ceramic lasts 12 months they say. Ceramic Coatings can last up to and possibly beyond 7 years.

If you do it yourself if reasonable. Maybe it would cost you a days labor and $125
If you take it somewhere and have it done, up to and beyond $1,200. But you don't know if they are using Spray Ceramic or Coating. They'll tell you Coating and that is why it costs so much but they are really using Spray.

Go to www.adamspolishes.com and check their Ceramic line out. It is Professional grade stuff for the DIY like you and me. Lots of videos explain how to use all of their products.

As for DIY, you have to wash the vehicle, clay bar/mit, wash the vehicle, correct (buff) any imperfections in paint (scratches, swirls), apply surface Prep (alcohol type product to final clean all surfaces to include glass and plastics, apply Spray or Coating. Super simple but if there are paint corrections necessary it can take a day. And that is just the exterior!!!!

Add another! Had a White Exterra and a White LHS. And a Black Corvette, never again...I have put a ceramic coating on, it's easy. I follow up with a quick spray carnuba wax whenever I wash. Next year, I'll start all over, claybar, cleanup, then coating...

Yup, white is the right call. This is very similar to what I ordered. biggest difference is I got the hybrid. That's a handsome truck!

The Oxford White is absolutely beautiful. That big wide white front bumper is going to be a dead bugs paradise. Definitely need to protect it and keep it clean. Congrats to the Oxford White folks, you will have a darn good looking truck. I am sort of mad at myself now for switching to Cactus Gray, but I wanted something a little different.

A good coating of ceramic will take care of the front. I try to keep it clean except during love bug season then they win. But a good shampoo cleans the ceramic coated front end pretty good.

I ordered an Oxford white Lariat, I think the Lariat interior will go great with it, I did get to see the interior with the Hot Pepper red and that looked good to me also.
