Depends on the product used. Spray Ceramic lasts 12 months they say. Ceramic Coatings can last up to and possibly beyond 7 years. Thanks for the input. I've been very curious about the ceramic coating, as I've never used it before but really, really want to take care of this Maverick. What would you say it costs to have done, and how often should it be reapplied? Thanks!
If you do it yourself if reasonable. Maybe it would cost you a days labor and $125
If you take it somewhere and have it done, up to and beyond $1,200. But you don't know if they are using Spray Ceramic or Coating. They'll tell you Coating and that is why it costs so much but they are really using Spray.
Go to www.adamspolishes.com and check their Ceramic line out. It is Professional grade stuff for the DIY like you and me. Lots of videos explain how to use all of their products.
As for DIY, you have to wash the vehicle, clay bar/mit, wash the vehicle, correct (buff) any imperfections in paint (scratches, swirls), apply surface Prep (alcohol type product to final clean all surfaces to include glass and plastics, apply Spray or Coating. Super simple but if there are paint corrections necessary it can take a day. And that is just the exterior!!!!
