No one is getting rewarded because of who they ordered from.

EcoBoost folks are getting rewarded an early production date because FORD has all of the parts to build it. Ford clearly doesn't have all of the parts to build hybrids at full capacity, at least not through week of OCT 18.. that's as far as we've seen scheduled. Ford can't announce what may or may not be holding up builds.. You folks are crazy thinking Ford's going to give you a reply to your unnecessary concerns. Now if there haven't been a substantial amount of hybrids scheduled by the end of the year, yeah, might be time for Ford to throw us a bone and tell us what's going on.
I so agree, my Dealership TOLD me a Hybrid would not be possible until 2023 AND he told me 6-8 months from December 21, 2021, for my "cute little chili red" Eco-boost XLT, so would not even expect a build date yet if not for this website, however very informative and entertaining and someday my "Truck" will come.

It was the hybrid that got me interested and motivated me to order. I guess I fell for for hype and thought Ford was on to something. Now I find the whole process confusing. Why market a product that you can not produce or supply. Oh I know because people will put down lots of money for something they have not seen and just rely on what Ford was advertising. I fell for it and very disappointed. I was not expecting a build date over night but now really not sure if I will ever get the truck at all. All ready looking at the new 2022 Nissan Frontier. I thought that if you ordered a vehicle it would be built in the order received. that’s what a good business does. Why would Ford TAKE an order for something they know they could never deliver? I did not know it was going to be a contest. It is strange to me that I am in a contest for them to sell something to me and made to feel grateful when I finally win a build date. How about just delivering on your promise FORD.
Amen!

Well, I was bad mouth six months ago on this thread about late hybrid production and First Editions (FE). I'm still waiting on my first edition hybrid from late June order. At least FORD did acknowledge a delay in hybrid production on retail orders in October, offering a free FITS kit. I'm hoping for late Spring or early Summer delivery now. There are many other hybrid MY22 orders still not scheduled yet. Hopefully we will acquire our new Mav's soon.
