I haven't had time to adjust mine yet and it has been too cold and dark when I got off work to feel like messing with it. I will look at it on Thursday or Friday... There are 4 nuts (2 on each side at the front of the tonneau) that will let you adjust the fit and move it a tad closer to the tailgate if you want. I'll let you know how it goes with mine when I get a chance to look at it again.Did you get the cover to seal against the tail gate? I had mine installed at the Ford dealership. I have a 1/8 gap across the tail gate
Thanks for the reply .I do like the cover just wish it seal better at the tail gate.I look forward in hearing back how your fits after you adjust it moreI haven't had time to adjust mine yet and it has been too cold and dark when I got off work to feel like messing with it. I just adjusted my tonneau cover... At the front of the cab you will find four 13mm nuts.. two on each side. Loosen them and you can adjust the cover back and forth. I did it with the cover down, in place. Now it grabs a sheet of paper between the cover and the bed.I haven't had time to adjust mine yet and it has been too cold and dark when I got off work to feel like messing with it. I like this idea! I might have to run with it.I also added a piece of cheap indoor/outdoor carpet I picked up at Home Depot for about $20. Adding also that I ran it through a car wash... Tiny bit of water at the front...very little. Inside of the tailgate was wet. The carpet was dry. Overall, I'm pleased. I like the way it looks and how secure it is.

Did you ever get this adjusted to close gap? I just recieved my 2023 Mav and there is a gap at talilgait especially at corners. I cant believe the gaps are by design.Did you get the cover to seal against the tail gate? I had mine installed at the Ford dealership. I have a 1/8 gap across the tail gate
I got some side molding for my truck because someone in a white car put a tiny ding in the door. I also used it across the tail gate and it made a big difference. I still get a little water in the bed from a car wash but it is minimal. The roll was the perfect length and it left only a small piece.Did you ever get this adjusted to close gap? Very nice! Thanks for the info. I figured that would be the solution.I got some side molding for my truck because someone in a white car put a tiny ding in the door. The rubber strip also makes it easier sliding heavy boxes across the tailgate.Very nice! Thanks for the info. I figured that would be the solution.
Hi I will have to try the tape too. I had my roll up bed cover from Ford over a year now never did seal up on the tailgate there is a 1/8 gap going across the tailgate. I think the manufacturer never had the right measurements from Ford when they made the bed cover.I usually only get a little water in the bed but I still would like to have a better seal. How long has tape been on your tailgate?I was just wondering since the top of tailgate is not metal. The rubber strip also makes it easier sliding heavy boxes across the tailgate.
There should be a warranty. That is a manufacturer defect.I got this roll up cover about six months ago. With the heat in South Florida all the adhesive holding the fabric strips on the underside of the cover failed completely. Not sure the purpose of that fabric, haven't decided if I want to try to fix it or just remove it. Not a good quality experience.
My tonneau cover came apart ... The felt pealed off this past summer. I ended up going to a dealership to get it replaced. There should be a warranty. That is a manufacturer defect.
I just opened mine after I've had the box in my garage for a couple months. I noticed that one of the rails, right side, is bent upwards at the front. Now I have to call Ford Accessories tomorrow to see if I can get a replacement of the damaged rail.
I've had a very bad experience with Ford Accessories these last few months. They sent me floor mats for a ford bronco, had to return them, I don't own a bronco and did not order floor mats for my Maverick. They did not send me what I actually ordered multiple times. Had to return a damaged rubber mat and still wating for a refund, etc, etc. And now this issue with my hard rollup cover. Not to mentioned all of the hours on the phone with Ford Accessories trying to resolve all of these issues. Tomorrow will be my 10th time calling them.
