We wanted to give you guys a closer look at the S&B Cold Air Intake for the '22-'24 Ford Maverick, and it's easy to see why it's become one of the most popular intake upgrades available.

Designed to increase airflow over the factory intake while maintaining excellent filtration, the S&B system delivers an engine bay appearance that's a huge upgrade to factory.

Ford Maverick S&B Cold Air Intake for the '22-'24 Ford Maverick 1784752703030-9z

As far as maintenance, S&B engineers their filters to last, but when it's time for cleaning, they should be serviced with the S&B Precision II Cleaning Kit designed specifically for the filter media. Using the recommended cleaning kit helps maintain the filter's performance, protects the filter media, and keeps it eligible under S&B's warranty program. It's a simple step that helps ensure your intake continues performing as intended for years to come. Choose either the Red or Blue cleaning kit, both do the same job but give you the option to match your aesthetic.

When cleaning the cotton filter for the Maverick will require 70 grams of oil. The cleaning kit comes with enough cleaner and oil to service your filter 5 times. If you get the intake with the cleaning kit, we recommend getting the cleaning kit so that you have it when you need to service your filter, and there’s no extra shipping cost when you order them together.

If you go with the dry extendable filter, it can be serviced by blowing air backwards through the filter to clear debris and extend its life, and that can be done up to 3 times.

The filter wrap, or pre-filter, can be used with the cotton cleanable filter or dry extendable, and is recommended for people who drive in dusty environments, to extend time between cleanings. The filter wrap will reduce air flow by around 3%, but some people feel that’s worth it to extend their cleaning intervals in those environments.

As always, if you have questions about fitment, filter options, or current forum promotions, feel free to send me a DM and I'll be happy to help.

Love the S/B intake ! Now having just installed the Magnaflow straight through muffler is just like a match made in heaven.
Nice! Have any sound clips? How did your install go on the intake? Thanks

I don't have sound clips but the quality/fit and finish is the best I have ever seen on any aftermarket kit- Its perfect- Its just a little more whoosh sound than stock- Its still super quiet- I hated the OEM airbox- I cant recommend it enough- I did go with the dry filter though- Turbos do not like ingesting filter oil goo -

Agreed. For a intake, this thing looks good, its solid and sounds good. The worst part of the install is the tube going to the turbo, and that part is not really all that bad.

Yep that's the unfun part- Need someone with skinny arms- The only miss from S/B here is not doing some kind of heat wrap- The tube you remove has an OEM heat shield, the SB does not have this so I reattached the OEM shield with zip ties- I guess it works.

I did the exact same thing. I used metal zip ties from Harbor Freight. No idea how much difference it makes.
