5th Annual Midwest Maverick Meetup: July 24-25

We are 1 month out from the Midwest Maverick Meetup, its the 5th year and we are ready to have some fun! This year we are adding a drive to our local Drive-in to see a movie as a group. our scenic drive route has not been decided on yet, but as soon as we know we will announce it on one of our weekly Tuesday night Livestreams.

Schedule of Events
Friday 9am-Noon - Destination Drive - Meetup in the Courtyard by Marriott South Parking Lot
Friday 7pm-11pm - Kanopolis Drive-in - Meet at Courtyard by Marriott South Parking Lot and drive out to the drive-in which starts playing at dark
Saturday 9am-11am Show and Shine - Bring your Ford Maverick to Long McArthur Ford
Celebrity Awards and Giveaway at 11am

There will be plenty of Automotive related activities in Salina that weekend as well. The Garage Museum will be open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. And Kustom Kemps of America: Led Sled Spectacular will also be in full swing Thursday-Sunday.

We have set up a block of rooms at the Courtyard Salina for $119 a night. They are all King Beds at a discounted rate for our group. you can either call in and reserve with them by mentioning Long McArthur group, by following this link. Please note they did add extra days around our event days in case anyone comes down early or leaves later than Sunday, in order to give some flexibility, take note on the dates when you are booking through the link.

I guess that's in the Midwest, but barely. Would be nice if it was midwest centric. I am more central Midwest, but this is 700 miles away. Too far for most of us midwesterners.

Agree with LS. I'm 890 miles & 13 hours away. will not be able to make any meets at all this year due to my busy "post retirement" schedule. I'll make a better attempt next year. Besides by then, I should have some nice "unique" mods to display & share.

We heard back from the Drive-in last night after the livestream. They let me know they will send the ticket sales link sometime next week. You will want to get your tickets as soon as possible, they have been selling out their Friday nights. I will work on a video showing how to purchase the tickets. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will include them in the video.

If you plan to attend the Kanopolis Drive-In with us on Friday the 24th for the Maverick meetup, we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. Their Fridays usually sell out by the morning of, so you will want to purchase in advance to guarantee you can get your vehicle in. Please purchase 1 car pass + 1 Adult admission to get your vehicle in, and then add tickets for any other passengers joining you.
