I got the your truck is built email yesterday evening. It’s an EB, XLT lux, all packages,SIBL I was set back four times on scheduled build week. My email gave a timeframe for delivery of 1/04-1/10. Hoping I’m not set back four times on delivery. Hang in their all!

I saw a YouTube video with the person saying Ford is closed for the holidays as I mentioned above.
I searched YouTube for any recent videos about the Hermosillo Ford plant closing for the holidays and couldn't find anything. Probably I'm searching the wrong terms.

Can you post a link to the video?

Stuck in limbo like everyone else, i was willing to drop the SIBL by removing the Lux package and re-adding it however i have been in prioroty code 2 for a couple months now, i cant change anything. FORD should be smart and allow changes from SIBL to DIBL.

I dropped the dibl and mud gards to get built and it worked but now I can’t find a dibl aftermarket or on the Ford site at all …materials shortages I guess

I spoke with my dealer yesterday because mine shows build started on 12-10-21, I got the window sticker but then it has been stuck in the "In Production" mode ever since. Dealer mentioned the assembly plants would be closed for 2 weeks for the holidays but did not know the dates.
Last night a delivery date of 1-11-22 showed up on my tracker but still showing "In Production."
Does anyone know what dates the plants will be closed? I am still holding out hope that mine can get finished and on a train prior to the shut down.

The Maverick line is closed for the whole week of the 27th of December, so they will actually be off until 3 January.

Thanks - That gives me more hope that it can get finished this next week!

The next three weeks would include the weeks starting with 12/20, 12/27, and 1/3.

But a while back I saw a number of folks with builds scheduled for 12/20 and 1/3.

Has that changed? Did you see an announcement somewhere that those build dates are cancelled and the plant will be closed for production for those three weeks?

I'm concerned because my build is scheduled to occur in that three week "holiday mode" period.
They wouldn't have scheduled for weeks they were anticipating to have the plant closed. Build scheduling is done at the corporate level and they don't necessarily operate on the same schedule as the factory.

Mine that was in production since the 8th did finish late afternoon Friday finally nearly 2 days after modules were active. Plant may have been dealing with other problems in addition to chip issues. It's better if it takes longer to produce if it doesn't turn into a future stop ship or recall like the 2 mentioned today.

Ok, so they are only closed Christmas week. That makes more sense. When you were saying they were going to be closed for three weeks I was kind of concerned.

That seemed pretty obvious to me, too -- unless something had just happened to shut the plant down. That's why I was asking @RonR1959's if he had anything to substantiate his suggestion in post #6 above saying that the plant would be closed for three weeks.

But now he has posted his source and it just refers to Christmas week -- not to a three week period -- so maybe my truck will get built on time after all. All is well...

I was going by a YouTube video I saw, but it failed to announce that certain lines would be shut down, and only made a blanket statement they were closed for three weeks. I found the schedule I posted on the Blue Oval Employee forums.
