I wonder why they list these only for the 2.0 AWD

2025+ AWD hybrids have the exact same suspension as the EcoBoost AWDs, don't they?

I really don't feel much like doing struts myself but I'll gladly do rear shocks.

I don’t mind swapping out my stocks for those but any specs or performance increase with these? Could just be the same ones with a different part number. I mean my stocks are great with the lowering springs I have.

I'm curious about any potential performance increase as well.

Which OEM? Shocks on the FWD Mavs? Shocks on the standard 4WD? Mono Tubes on the FX/4? Inquiring minds want to know. 😀

Like if they were Olin’s or Koni’s I’d believe it.

What does it do to the overall ride quality ? Does it change from a Caddy to Vette - aka Kidney Buster ? Havn't been in or driven a LOBO so I have no idea what the ride quality is in those trucks.

I put the Good-Win sway bar on and I can take corners with out issue. To add these type of shocks (although I do agree a set Koni's would be nice) would add stiffness to the corners. I just don't want stiffness in the ride.

It’s really not for all trim levels if it’s not for the FWD hybrid too.

Just ordered mine yesterday along with the lowering springs and rear sway bar. My Ford dealer said they should be here in 7-10 days and they will install everything. I will follow up with my honest opinion once everything is installed.

Exactly! Are these valved differently, are they shorter than stock because of the lowered springs?

The parts arrived for the Ford Maverick sport dampener kit, along with the rear anti swaybar. I left the truck overnight at the dealer and it was ready the next day. I’ve been driving it for the past two weeks and I can honestly say that it makes a huge difference, especially on country roads with a lot of sharp turns. It eliminates nearly all of the body sway, and it is a blast to drive.

I also had the lowering springs installed at the same time as the sports suspension kit. It really does not lower it a whole lot, but it does level it and the ride is not harsh at all.
