I know this thread is a little old at this point, but I've been eyeing different tire sizes for mine. Has anyone tried 245/50s? Should be within the acceptable margin for diameter, but wondering if it would look too wide on the stock wheels...

You bought the wrong truck.

The Lobo is marketed as a sporty, performance, good handling truck. That’s not the type of driver you are, by your own admission

Trade it in on a Lariat. Same basic truck, mbut aimed and tuned at a different type of customer.

Actually, you don’t sound like a truck customer at all. Look for a luxury sedan or crossover.
Exactly this.

Exactly not that, he already responded to that nonsense...

The issue is 100% the horrible OEM tires. Why they would be a concrete hard compound tire on a sport tuned street truck is beyond me. But it's what they do, cost vs performance. I haven't decided which tire I'll go with just yet, but I'm driving mine a ton more than I planned, so for now the stock OEM garbage stays put.
