Just a few general comments. I have a '23 Maverick XLT Hybrid for about 3 years now. Only about 21,000 miles on it so far. Probably 2/3 in the city driving, 45 MPH or less. 1/3 "on the road 55-75 MPH. Use the Maverick in the city for personal use, and very, very light hauling of some lawn equipment. Have to say this has been the best vehicle purchase I've ever made. I normally get around 44 MPG in the city, and about 38 MPG on the road. Absolutely zero complaints to date with my Mav (knock on wood). It has been everything I expected. Great gas mileage, rides comfortably and quietly, cools & heat as expected, good sounding radio. Truck bed handles the hauling of my lawn equipment with ease. My '23 was year two of the Maverick roll out, and as such probably most of the 1st year bugs were worked out. Thus I consider myself almost on the ground floor of an amazing vehicle, and at the rock bottom price. The same Maverick today, new, I believe is between $5k-$10 higher than what I paid. I've even had offers to buy my Maverick for slightly more than I paid for it. Just thought I would share my positive Maverick experience to date.

Yea . I had my maverick for 4 years and was pleased with it . But , projects finished , insurance costs up ( safe driver but $1k every 6 months ussa ) , bumper to bumper warranty gone , dealership questionable , maintenance due , additional / leftover recalls , and good offer from carvana . couldn't pass it up so I sold it . Miss it occasionally and looking for a used one . 23 or 24 XL EB only ( physical ac and radio ) and don't like front fascia of 25/26 . time will tell . only bought xlt because of cruiser control and awd because of availability .

Good to hear. I have a 2023 Hybrid Lariat 32,000 miles with no problems other than the Recalls for software updates (2 are past due - rear camera freeze which I’ve never experienced and a seatbelt latch to be replaced). I’ve never purchased an Extended Warranty on any of my vehicles over the past 45 years of owning. I generally do (did) my own maintenance and most of my vehicles made it 15 years and 200K plus miles. So, thinking about getting the Ford Protect Premium Care Extended Warranty Service Plan mainly because of the Hybrid elements which befuddle me. Any experience with the Warranty good or bad?

I have never purchased any additional warranty on any vehicle I've had. An fortunately I've never had the need to have had one. Hope my luck continues.

I have the same exact experience as you. 17,500 miles on my 23 XLT hybrid. Like everything about it even the stock radio. Hope it lasts a long time. I keep my vehicles long term, 15, 20, even 25 years!

22k miles, virtually the same experience and mileage. Zero warranty claims but about to have my first with the headliner having a small detachment near the top rubber seal of the driver's door. Only other complaint is that l wish the trifold was completely waterproof, as it looks and functions great. However, l'll deal with the small amount of corner leakage. Glad l bought a Lariat and clicked every option box. Thought l spent too much for a little truck, but glad a rolled that way. Every option worth the money from front wrap to the trifold. One of the best sunroofs i've owned ,ever, with no wind coming in at 70. Have others where you can't open it on the freeway. Definitely a happy buy and one of the best car/truck ( like small SUV with a bed) l've owned. Would l have preferred it as a plug-in ( i've owned others), with maybe 40 miles, sure but it definitely would lower the highway mpg down to liw 30s and with the city mpg so good, it's not an issue. Would l have liked an all electric truck, no. I for one hate stopping on trips to charge (have a fully electric for town), so this is my go to drive for anything over 100 miles each way. When charging is 5 to 10 minutes and the cost isn't 4 times what l pay at home, sure. At near 38 MPG on road , remote electric charging per KwT is so expensive ( .40 and even .60..i've seen .80... per KwT and actually close to parity with this hybrid vehicle's gas cost, and that's just silly.
