You might need a new driver belt buckle. It's a warranty job

@Ford Motor Company - Any chance you want to help me with this? I am still getting this fault near daily. Already took to the dealer once and their response was that bc the warning light was no longer on, they didn't want to go through de-pinning and tracing wiring to find the root of the issue. I contacted them again and it is over a month for them to schedule me. I carry kids in the truck regularly so not super excited to have issues with safety systems that can't get addressed under warranty.
Of course it would be warrantied. Why would you consider otherwise/

I’m never sure why 3+ year old things get brought back randomly on forums like these. It was about the fact the dealer refused to do the work necessary to solve the issue even though it was under warranty, which I’m sure was just bc they’d be underpaid on the reimbursement from Ford.

ultimately, doesn’t matter anymore. I tired of constant recalls, shoddy warranty work by dealer, etc and got rid of the Maverick.
