It's not a 2025 display if that's what you're asking; the 2025 display is wider/shorter. These conversions into the 22-24MY typically use something like a Transit 12" display which has a more square aspect ratio but more readily adaptable to fit the 8" screen mounting.

We have sold over 40 of these kits, and only a couple have had issues. We stand by our product, if anyone has any issues that arise, we are always more than happy to help you through them!

I will attest to this. I had several issues/things not working XM hardware issue, no audio from phone, backup camera was blue screen. PM sent me a new APIM and now everything works after installing it this morning. Yes it took 4 months to get it but well worth the wait. If you are on the fence about getting it I highly recommend.

I’m sorry we missed those questions. Can you please point me to where they are? A simple tag goes a long way for us as a small team, and we don’t ever want anyone to feel ignored. Truly sorry if we overlooked something here. We’ll do our best to get those answered right away.

The two most frequent questions are:

1. Will the new APIM module be able to accept ongoing updates from Ford?
2. Will the Ford Pass continue to work exactly as before?

I just received some answers from OEM and Panda:

- As a 23 Lariat Luxury I have full Ford Nav (no subscription needed)..."with update: You see a map but you can’t put a destination in to route to it. Sync 4 requires a subscription paid for navigation and there’s no way to pay for it on a Maverick." (per OEM)

- ."... the factory NAV will be lost, as it is subscription based and Ford cannot validate it after the update. We do note this in the product description". (per Panda)

- Sirius/XM will be lost unless you purchase a new $100 antenna (per Panda)

- Continuing software updates? (This is clear as mud) "The vehicle will update, but the sync 4 apim won’t. Ford will not recognize the APIM so it will not try to update it ." ????? (per OEM)

- "Setting up FordPass will require the OEM Radio. If FordPass is setup and working nothing changes, it will continue to work as long as you do not “master reset” the radio." (per OEM)

- "The conversion will only void the warranty on radio related components because they’ve been replaced. Any other parts are still covered." (per OEM)

While these issues are not a deal breaker, they do need to be considered. One thing to remember.
Nothing is forever. If you don't like it, you can always reinstall the old screen and APIM. (Yeah I know. You will be out $650 in my case)

After a few back and forth with Panda the conclusion was a bad ACM (as I suspected in the beginning) they promptly sent me another one and after installation sound is now working along with everything as before. I was able to figure out the DTCs with the speakers by going into Forscan and changing the type to tweeter only, since I don't have the B&O system. As for the DTCs on the APIM code B1087, U0162 went away after changing the Parking Assistance to 0-none the only code that's left is U0159 which is for the Parking assist module A. All my Forscan changes were made in the Not as built format. If anyone has an idea what I should try to check next it would be appreciated

I picked up this kit from OEM Plus Upgrades and it showed up in about 6 days. Just installed it on Friday and it's awesome!! Everything works great. I made a small mistake during installation and forgot to plug in one of the USB cables. Sam replied to my troubleshooting email in a few minutes. I'm very happy with this setup and the black Friday discount was nice! I installed myself and it took 2.5 hours but I've never done anything like this before. I think if I did it again I'd get it done closer to an hour. I hope it goes well for you!
